BEST ANSWER: I am not sure what type of batteries are inside the powerbank. I assumed that they were lithium ion. They would not be considered easily replaceable. There are no tabs or releases on the device to make the batteries replaceable.

Batteries are not replaceable. The unit is rechargeable. Plug it in to recharge, use it to recharge other devices.

What do you mean by FAA approved? As of this writing (Nov 2023), 1- the FAA does not allow any external phone battery packs in checked baggage, including bags checked at the gate or planeside. 2- You are allowed to carry batteries onboard with up to 100 watt hours per battery. The Monoprice 20,000 mAh Power Banks and smaller are all under 100 watt hours, and thus may be carried on planes. 3- If you mean ship these battery packs via plane as cargo (i.e. fedex, ups, dhl), please refer to your shipper's restrictions on what kinds and sizes of batteries are allowed or not allowed.

It has a USB-C port that can be used to charge the power bank or a device (tow-way) so I image it would work fine. I have used a USB-C to lightning cable to charge an iPhone.

This is the Swiss Army of Battery packs. It's so handy, especially with the fast wireless charging, which leaves cables out of the in conversation!
Super fast wired charging are also of the many benefits. The digital battery percentage for the pack let's you know when to recharge, so you never left guessing how much juice is left. I've previously purchased a 20k mAh from Mophie for more, and it doesn't stand a chance against this beast.

VERY handy charger
This battery is perfect for charging a phone with a damaged or dirty USB port. The fast charging works great but it will heat up the phone. I 3D printed a holder to slide my wife's phone and the battery into so that she can hold it while charging.

Power Bank
Solidly built. Sturdy. Have charged to see how long it would last. So far after 10 days, unit is still at 100%. Haven't had the need to use as of yet. Will try it out after another two weeks to see how much charge is retained. With my experience with Monoprice, I am sure there will be no issues. Monoprice does back its products. So far, I am happy.

Amazing product. Holds charge for days, if not a week or two. Charges at a fast rate, depending on the cable you use. Highly recommend!

Great option for large capacity charger
I've had it for several days and so far so good. As another review noted, it is quite heavy, but knew that when purchasing. Also, wireless charging is NOT MagSafe. That caught me off guard, but in fairness, the description does not say it is, so that's my fault. Regardless, wireless charging is fast and easy. Would buy again.
