I got a new 4K JVC projector and Panasonic 4K BD player for my dedicated theater. The original, copper HDMI cable would no longer be of sufficient quality to pass a 4K signal. The new Monoprice, 49ft., 8K-capable fiber optic HDMI had to go up into the ceiling, down through a wall, into the crawlspace under the floor, over to another wll, then back up to the equipment cabinet. It works as advertised.
