BEST ANSWER: I would suggest always using a raft when printing. That solved my lifting problems on my Voxel IIIP.

Even if i put the object at the center of the platform in the slicer, the printer tries to print it at the edge of the platform and makes a loud noise because it tries to move the platform out! It's as if the printer thinks the center is in the corner of the platform. What can i do?

Is this a rebranded flashforge adventurer 4?
A shopper
on Apr 23, 2023
BEST ANSWER: My understanding is that they are essentially the same unit, with Monoprice being a US based retailer that sells generic-branded electronics under its label, where Flashforge is a China based company. The Voxel uses its own version of Flashpoint and also states it supports a 5KG filament roll where the Adventure4 can supposedly can use Flashpoint/Cura/Slic3r and only says it supports a 1KG roll.

Great, easy to use printer!
This is my third 3D printer and it is by far the best I have used. All my prints have come out perfect.
Only problem is that it was sad to see that this model appears to be discontinued. Generated concern about finding replacement parts if needed.

Very Pleased!
Very impressed with FlashCloud. It took a while get an account and logged in as it was offline the first day I tried. I got a great deal when they sold it at liquidation pricing. I still have not had to use Flash print. The slicer in Polar cloud is not worth using. Terrible results using samples in their library.

Easy and effective printer, perfect for new users of 3d printing with a great price!
The Voxel Pro was boxed and packaged really well. Setup was intuitive and easy, had a sample print going within 10 mins of power on and auto leveling.
The unit is larger than expected, the print area is perfect. Enclosed with filter makes it more tolerable for long prints.
Overall for the 2 weeks I have had it, it has done 12 prints including 1 76 hour print. The software is easy to use, I do like how it performs on wired network over wireless, that is my only gripe besides no auto power down after a print.
I highly recommend!!

Overall A Great Printer
Other than the calibration of the nozzle/bed, it is a great unit and easy to use and does not require any setup beyond loading the filament and performing the initial calibration. My first print (ever as this is my first printer) was almost perfect except I messed up the calibration a bit. And since it is enclosed I do not have to worry about my cats messing with it as it makes a little bit of noise, which they must investigate at all costs.

Solid printer as far as I can tell
This is my first 3d printer and I'm definitely no expert in 3d printing... yet...
Anways, I was expecting it to need some assembly but nope. It just comes in a big box. It can be a little awkward getting the printer out, but it was VERY well packaged and simple to setup. Pull it out of the box, remove all of the foam from the print area and filament bay, plug it in and flip the power switch.
It does take a while to fully boot. I was a little afraid I got a dud, but the screen lit up with its first time setup after about 10-20 seconds. The first time setup did a good job of walking me through. The only issue I ran into was I thought the bed was auto-leveling, but the first time setup had me run through it manually. I might have accidentaly hit a wrong button.
Manual leveling was okay. The touchscreen means you'll probably miss-press and change the step size. There's 3 different step sizes for manual leveling and and buttons for the step size are right above the up/down buttons. A better UI would have moved them further apart. I know.. nitpick.
The first time feeding filament in didn't feed it all the way to the print head. I had to unload and re-load the filament.
Also, the printer doesn't automatically pull an IP address if hardwired. You have to go into the network settings to enable it.
I did a small cube as a first test print with the default settings in FlashPrint MP and it came out fine. I then did a test print of Benchy as big as the print area would allow and it did fine as well.
Printed a few more things and failed specacularly, but that was because I was playing around with the slicing settings in FlashPrint.
There's 2 nitpicks that I have: the camera, quite frankly, sucks. And the LEDs on the print head are... okay. The camera is a 720p 15hz (maybe 10hz?) webcam. You can pick out major features, but you can't rely on it for detecting a print going wrong. It just doesn't have the fidelity. Also, the LEDs on the print head blow out the image, especially if the printer is in a dark room. It would have been better to put LED strips on the ceiling of the printer to illuminate the entire print area. The print head lights are great at illumating what is happening directly ahead of the nozzle, and not much else.

Great printer!!!
It's been the perfect 3D Printer so far. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and it's been printing almost nonstop. I haven't had a more trouble free printer. I love the Wi-Fi printing. Basically plugged it in and started printing.
