BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. This mouse doesn’t require any dedicated software. Once connected, it automatically uses a generic driver.

There is no software for this mouse. It's just plug and play. A switch on the underside can toggle the LEDs to be on or off. The DPI button on top can cycle for the DPI speed. Neither the LEDs or the DPI can be adjusted to your preference. Previous Dark Matter Hyper-K wired mouse software does not work with this wireless mouse.

Not that I have found. The RGB is not customizable, but you can turn it on/off with the switch. I still love the mouse, especially for the sale price!

Where's the software download? It seems to be unobtainium for the 40430 (wired model) also.

Scroll to the bottom of this page, click the help link, then scroll to the bottom of that page.. click on the link below "Looking for Manuals or Downloads?" - type in the product number in the new window that pops up. I just tested the software for the 40430 with the 44028 and they are not compatible.

yep same, looks like I'm waiting for libratbag or openrgb to pick it up or looking in to it myself, can't be that different from the other Sinowealth mice

not quite, it works fine but the RGB/dpi settings are configurable in software, at least for the 40430, I just seem to have misplaced the executable (kind of assume it was the same for the wireless model, but not sure)

Does it work on all surfaces including glass?

BEST ANSWER: It won't work on glass because it needs a texture to track. It will work on anything else that isn't transparent.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. The wheel light stays on as indicates what DPI setting the mouse is currently set to.
So you can either turn it on with the LED base lights (and wheel light), or just the wheel light.

Are there actually a bunch of little hexagonal holes in the plastic? What if I accidentally drop a paperclip in it and it causes a short circuit?

I realize this is geared towards gaming, but my main reason for purchasing was to keep my hand cooler since it has excellent ventilation. Aside from that, it feels very nice in hand, it's lightweight, and looks awesome. The wired and wireless option is also a great feature.

Great Value on Sale
I bought two, one for home, one for work, and I love them. Incredibly strong frame/body. RGB looks cool, and the mouse seems very durable.

Great at $19.99, not worth it at $50.00+
This is a very nice mouse and performs well, a reasonable deal at $19.99 and was very popular before Christmas. Since it sold well, they have increased the price to $59.99 for the same mouse, and I do not think it is worth that. There are other good gaming mouses in the field at that price.

Not happy with how inconfigurable it is. VERY light, but...
I thought there would be some configuration software. It is really light and it is really beautiful, but the inability to a) program the extra buttons and b) actually set my dpi settings is really awful... I hadn't realized.
