How long is the cable on this hub/adapter?

BEST ANSWER: I just measured and the cable is just a hair over 8" long from the end of the adapter to the usb-c connector.

Does the USB-C Female port provide pass thru data with power (as in, can I connect and use a USB-C webcam, which requires power, via the USB-C port on this hub)?

BEST ANSWER: When i plug the adapter into my ipad and plug the usb-c charger in at the end of the adapter, my ipad recieves a charge.

USB-A keyboard works, HDMI monitor recognized by macOS but no signal detected on monitor resulting in blank screen. Using a "Monoprice 4K Slim High Speed HDMI Cable 15ft - 18Gbps Active Black" ( https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=14196 ). Active cable hooked up in proper direction (source side on adapter, tv side on monitor).

Works great, reliable
I've used this as my laptop HDMI connector and USB dock for several months. I'm very happy with it. It has been much more reliable than previous cheap hubs that I've used. The HDMI connection doesn't drop and it works without external power source great.

Unusual install, solid device
I was initially worried that this wasn't going to work as I plugged it in before booting and ended up in a boot loop. I then tried booting and letting windows stabilize before plugging in. Again nothing worked, but nothing crashed either. After another reboot, this time with the device plugged in everything I have tried works as expected, 1 HDMI, 3 USB 2.0 devices, powered from the PC via the USB-C cable. I have not tried the USB-C PD port.
It is entirely possibly the difficulties I encountered are due to the locked down corporate image on the PC, but once I figured out the order to plug things in everything has been working fine.

Maybe I got a lemon?
The device doesn't work. It functioned for about 5 minutes, then stopped. I've tried using it on multiple devices, with and without power plugged into it. It's been a disappointment.

Does what it should
Works as an HDMI adapter for a USB-C Mac, and includes a few old-school USB ports too. I use those for a USB webcam and a USB dongle for a wireless keyboard/mouse.

Great for Steam Deck
Bought this for my Steam Deck so I could connect it to an external 4k display at 60Hz. Works great! The 3 USB connections are super nice.. Handles supplying the Deck with power from the 20V-2.25A (45 watt) USB-C connection while playing perfectly.
The only very minor issue is the plastic attracts smudges and marks very easily and will probably discolor quickly if handled frequently but a quick wipe with a wet cloth cleans it up quick.
