What material are the balls made of?

BEST ANSWER: The pins and balls are made of wood. The balls do not have any holes. The photo is misleading as it shows holes but there are no holes. The balls are 2-7/8 inch diameter so holes would not really work, the pins are 8 inches tall.

They are panted wood that is somewhat light in weight. Mine also did not have any finger holes which is probably best given the small size (about twice the size of a tennis ball).

The balls which are less than 3 inches in diameter are made of wood. Mine don't have holes like the ones shown in the photo.

BEST ANSWER: Very lite. The whole set is a little underwhelming honestly. I bet they are a 1/4" lb each maybe?

Could Use Some Redesign

The base of the pins are too narrow to stand by themselves on the grass. Otherwise, the set is fine.
