Some handles are bowed and cracked but still usable. Don't understand the comment about size: these are standard size and the same size as those I played with as a kid from the 70's.
Overall, nice kit that is made of real wood, every piece (except gates) and finished with a satin gloss. Would buy again.
As I wrote before, the Croquet Set and the Lawn Bowling Sets are awesome. We gifted them to my Wife's niece and her Family. Due to COVID in our area, we haven't played with them yet, but they are so happy that their 2 children loved the whole package. They received their gift of the outdoors and a good reason to stay there.
