The Reuleau is great. Great price, volume and plenty of bass. Very impressive woofers. I needed an inexpensive portable with good specs and this is it.

Everything else I love about them. Got 2 of them paired in the gazebo and sound great. Just wish battery life was equally as great!!!

I've had difficulty finding a battery-powered easily-portable speaker with adequate volume, which can get a signal by wire. This one meets my requirements. It does have disappointing battery life (perhaps because there's no way to disable the bluetooth) and it's a bit heavy on the bass, not ideal for speech. But it's the best I've found.

Good device. Sound quality it good for the size, device charges within a decent amount of time.

so far so good. about a month of use. bluetooth connects smoothly. got it for listening to music homework in the shower without a ton of reverb from putting it across the room, and it does the trick for that. light enough that the 3m hook adhesive is holding it up so far, in spite of taking it on and off the hook to charge a couple times. is it super hi fi? at this price, it does what I'd hoped.

This speaker works as hoped. I put a bright yellow ribbon on this one so I won't leave another black speaker in a golf cart !

Good-sounding device. Bought this to replace a Bose SoundLink Color that failed prematurely, and this sounds just as good. Easy to use, easy to pair Bluetooth.

This is a great speaker. Sound is wonderful. Crisp and clear. However, it doesn?t charge while in use so I took off a star. You can plug it in before playing and it won?t lose charge, but if you plug it in mid-play it will. I bought it to replace my laptop speakers and use as a beach speaker occasionally. For what I need it works great, but if it?s to use out and about mostly you might prefer something you can keep playing and have it charge while plugged into a battery backup.

So this is my second Monoprice BT speaker, my first being a quite old Deep Blue 5 (very small, single speaker). Being happy with that, I bought this!

CON:
Doesn't seem to charge while in use, despite the adapter being TWICE the recommended 5V 1A (using my Galaxy S8's charger; 9V 1.67A or 5V 2A). Which means if you plug it in at 20%, it stays there, AND EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES IT'LL BEEP AT YOU, because 20% is its low battery level! ????

This wouldn't be so bad, if it could at least recognize its plugged in and thereby NOT blare its ultra-loud (and audio interrupting) /BEEP-BEEP/ ??
Consider this a -1.5 ?, but I'm rounding the rating to 4, instead of 3.5

PROS:
Otherwise, this unit has proven to be a good purchase, being only a day into owning it. Listened to a few albums and it's able to handle them, producing a nice rich and warm sound profile.

Max volume should be sufficiently loud for most people and usage scenarios, without reason of course. Cranking my S8's volume to its ""unsafe"" max volume makes music loud enough that you won't be able to hold a conversation near the speaker, which is impressive considering this is basically the size of a 20oz pop bottle! Better still, it does this without distorting.

Watching YouTube or movies is also a pleasure. While you wouldn't really need it at max volume to watch on your phone, using a laptop screen would benefit greatly by this, as it'll become an effective "soundbar" for it. It even managed to "throw" certain sounds (in a pseudo-3D way), making me wonder what was making noise elsewhere in my room... Until I realized it was part of the YouTube video I was watching! ??

Battery life seems more than adequate. I figure I had gotten through 4 hours the day I got it (allowing for the recommended full charge before using), leaving it at 50% battery. Today, another 3 hours or so, before the 20% warning started. Then I continued listening to it for a good 30 minutes after that, until I had enough and plugged it in. After roughly another 30mins watching while it was plugged in, I realized the aforementioned con (in reality, I'm sure it's trickle-charging, but that's of no interest when it continues to alert you to its battery level).

I've not tested the audio quality using the Aux input, but I suspect it'll be just as good. If it's anything like my old Deep Blue 5, the Aux audio will actually yield a little more thump to the bassy notes.
