Can 2 of these be paired together to play in stereo?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, they Do! But strangely, the instructions are not in the manual. You must pair them to each other, then they show up as one Bluetooth device. To pair them together: (1) make sure they aren't already paired to your device. If they are, select "forget this device" for both speakers. (2) turn both of them on. (3) Double-press the pair button on just one of them. (4) wait for it to make a chime. (5) connect your phone or whatever to the speakers (they will only show up as one device). Enjoy.

They do not built in however my phone has the ability to play on two different devices at once.

BEST ANSWER: No, it is only the far more common 3.5mm stereo for the Aux input.
However, Monoprice probably still sells 2.5mm-to-3.5mm adapters!

Is the review consistent with every product with this serial number? It won’t charge while playing? This seems like a huge drawback.

BEST ANSWER: It won’t charge however if you plug it in before you start playing you also won’t lose battery. I bought it to keep at home mostly so this isn’t a drawback for me.

Does this speaker automatically power off out if there is no input on the 3.5mm for a certain period of time?

BEST ANSWER: hello- i purchased these units as gifts. so i cannot say that they turn off automatically when there is not audio input for a certain amount of time. however, i own some other Harmony BT speakers, that do auto turn off, when BT or 3.5mm source is gone for approx 15 minutes. so i would assume that these units will have the same feature.

BEST ANSWER: It comes with a USB cable to charge the battery and a 20" mini phone plug audio cable with male plugs on each end.

Pretty good but could use a power meter
At $20 it's totally worth it, but the lack of a power meter is an annoyance. We have another monoprice portable bluetooth speaker that we also got for around $20, but it has a simple 4 dot readout to let you know battery status. Having had the battery run out on me and getting a BEEP as the thing shut down really made me miss the indicator. Otherwise, simple to use, connects well, has good sound quality given the size.

Good Overall Value
Good value for the price. I was hopeful that maybe it would be of similar sound quality to the UEBoom or JBL but unfortunately it's not quite there. As said, still good for the price.

Another excellent buy from Monoprice
The Reuleau is great. Great price, volume and plenty of bass. Very impressive woofers. I needed an inexpensive portable with good specs and this is it.

Meets my basic needs
I've had difficulty finding a battery-powered easily-portable speaker with adequate volume, which can get a signal by wire. This one meets my requirements. It does have disappointing battery life (perhaps because there's no way to disable the bluetooth) and it's a bit heavy on the bass, not ideal for speech. But it's the best I've found.

so far so good. about a month of use.
so far so good. about a month of use. bluetooth connects smoothly. got it for listening to music homework in the shower without a ton of reverb from putting it across the room, and it does the trick for that. light enough that the 3m hook adhesive is holding it up so far, in spite of taking it on and off the hook to charge a couple times. is it super hi fi? at this price, it does what I'd hoped.
