BEST ANSWER: Don't see why not, it has a 3.5mm jack that can connect to a standard 3.5mm jack like on an airplane. It'll be a pain to have to manage that as it flops around, especially if you or the person next to you has to get up.

It works very well on my TV by plugging into the mini jack with the supplied cable. I use it to blue tooth to my apple AirPods.

Can I plug conventional headphones into the 3.5 mm jack - Is there enough audio output? I already have an bluetooth aptx low latency transmitter hooked to my TV.

BEST ANSWER: I am using Sony BT headphones and still notice the delay. the device is connected directly from the TV using the 3.5mm RCA cable. Watching a concert using BT headphones is unbearable, especially during the closeups of drum hits or guitar strums. BT has come a long way but still not anywhere close to a physical cable or TOSLink cable. BT is just convenient just for Audio but not for watching TV or Films

Yes, you can plug in the 3.5 mm aux cable. Output is pretty adequate and it depends on your headphones. Do note that if you plug in high amp headphones, then the max volume would be lower.

Will this unit stay powered up?
I will be placing the device up from the floor and I don't want to have to go and get a ladder to reach it to turn it on

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the unit will stay up all the time. I have connected it at the back of my TV with dedicated 5v power source and all I have to do is power ON my headphones, which then automatically connect to this device. Also, the unit stays ON regardless of the TV being ON or OFF. I would suggest connecting it to its own power though and not from a USB port from the TV, which I have not tried. Thanks

Simple to use and understand, works great!
Can be either a transmitter (plug in a source, and use your bluetooth speakers/headphones), or a receiver (plug in an aux cable for a speaker/stereo system, and stream bluetooth to it).
Battery life so far seems really good, charge time was fast also.
No complaints here!

Useful replacement for wired headphones, with limitations...
I bought this to replace a wired headphone connection for a family member to listen to TV sound without having to hear other noise in the room. For that it works quite well when paired to a decent set of BlueTooth earphones. My only nitpick is it appears to be designed to be operated on battery, which is a plus, but when plugged into the wall power source continuously it shuts itself off if no audio is present for some period of time. I could understand this if the unit was not continuously plugged into the wall adapter. In any case it just means the user needs to check the power state before resuming use to make sure it's turned on.
