Can this go in wall?
CHELSEA D
on Oct 5, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Yes. My Comcast box is 10 feet away from my TV. I drilled two holes in the wall (from living room to garage) and routed the cable through the holes. I’m sure the cable could have been placed in the wall, too, and worked fine.

Sure, you don't need any special cable to go inside a wall.

Can you add a 8k 3ft cable to an 8k 15 ft cable and would here be a major loss of signal strength and picture quality?

BEST ANSWER: I would expect signal loss with adding any cable to an existing one. I would recommend getting a longer cable that will complete the connection without needing an additional cable.

Probably not a significant loss if you find good male-to-male connector, but why not go the simple route and just buy a 20 ft cable?

Yes, you should be able to use this coupler to combine the two HDMI cables and make a length of 18ft. However, please keep in mind that any coupler or extension may slightly reduce the signal quality, so you may experience some degree of reduced performance when using the combined cables.Enter an answer to this question.

Thickest insulation I've ever seen on an HDMI cable
I ordered these partly because they didn't have the thinner cables I really wanted, but also because the image they showed of the these cables showed much thinner insulation than the ones I got. The insulation is so thick that they're impossible to work with. I did not get what was pictured and will be refunding and going with Amazon Basics cables.
What I got vs what I thought I was getting.
