Absolutely. We use the larger bottom shelf to hold part of our record collection and they fit easily.

What's the distance between rods and shelves? I have a Marantz 6014 and want to make sure it fits in the shelf spacing between rods. I also have a Monolith 7x power amp. I saw the other answer, but it seems really small. I want to know if I can fit these two items between the rods.

BEST ANSWER: The distance between shelves is 9 inches for the smaller vertical height and 13 inches for the larger vertical height. I have a PS Audio P1200 (9"H x 17"w x 20"D) with a Teac 10MHz clock on top of it with a sonicTransporter i5 beside it on the left bottom shelf. I have an Oppo BDP-105D with a linear power on top of it on the left top shelf. I have an Audio-GD preamplifier with an Audio-Gd DAC (both 5"H x 17"W x 18"D) on the bottom right shelf, and a Dish Hopper (4"H x 17"W x 14"D) with an Audio-GD Phono preamp (3.5"H x 9.5"W x 14"D) beside it on the top shelf. I don't think you will have any issues with your receiver.

Can this be turned around to have the middle support columns in the rear to accommodate a center channel speaker? Also, what is the purpose of the bar (Q in the instructions) on the bottom shelf?
David E
on Jan 31, 2023
BEST ANSWER: There are middle support columns in the front and rear so no matter which way you turn it there is a middle support column. The metal bar appears to be for added strength to the bottom shelf.

built like a TANK
This thing is built like a tank. It's heavy. It almost killed the fedex driver getting it up a flight of stairs. Despite its weight, it's relatively simple to put together. But it's strong enough i feel i could park my car on it, looks nice too.

Great deal
Very nice entertainment center especially at the sale price. Easy to assemble and sturdy enough to support heavy electronics.

Great Stand For Big, Heavy Audio Equipment
My Monolith Double Wide XL - AV Stand has worked out great. The bottom shelf is holding 2 amps that weigh 75 lbs. each. I left the center support on the front out of the assembly and my center channel speaker just barely fits between the top and center shelf. I don't know if you could slide a dime in, on top of that speaker. (NHT AC-2, 36lbs.) This tells me that the measurements that Monoprice publishes are spot on! You should know that this stand is heavy, 100 lbs. The Fedex delivery guy was happy I was there to help unload it. Assembly was easy and straight forward. You assemble this upside down and it will help if you have another person help turn it upright.

Are spiked feet available?
It deserves a five except for one thing. My living room where I plan to use this has thick carpet plus padding which makes it a little wobbly and I fear a little too unstable for my turntable. Are there any spiked feet available that could better anchor this to my wood floor that is below the carpet and padding? I do think this is a very well made AV stand and it is much heavier than I expected.

Has possibilities but compromises make it less desirable for me.
MDF is the cheapest wood and not strong.I hope this lasts, it should have been plywood It was easy enough to assemble and will look fine until the top veneer wears off. On A/V Cabinets the longer tube would be between the top and the middle shelf. Should have provided 2 extra medium legs and 34 plastic washers. The top screws should have been a bolt with a hole, they were hard to tighten. If I could see it and touch it, I would never buy it. The overall look, design and functionality was let down by the flaws listed above. It does look strong and is extremely heavy due to the pressed board shelves.

Perfect for my needs
Got this because I needed a sturdy and wide rack with good ventilation but not at a ridiculous price. This thing is sturdy, looks good and is easy to put together. Just follow the diagram along with the lettered pack that contains the needed bolts etc.
