Does this screw into the wall? Or will the whole thing come out when I pull a plug out of the adapter?

BEST ANSWER: It doesn't screw into the wall or outlet. When unplugging a cord, I hold the edge of the adapter to ensure I don't unplug it with the power cord.

Does this support USB-C PPS?

PPS is the latest addition to the PD 3.0 standard. PPS and PD protocols work seamlessly together. PPS allows for renegotiation of non-standard currents and voltages between the charger and the device. "

This is spec'd as PD 3.0, so the answer is yes, if they're truthin'.

Does this provide surge protection for the AC outlets and USB ports?

BEST ANSWER: I don't see in the specifications that the AC ports (3-prong NEMA) are protected with surge protection. However, the DC-power USB Type C ports are protected from "over current, over voltage, overload, short circuit, and over temperature circuits" and "built‑in overload, short circuit, overcurrent, power spike, power fluctuation, and noise filtration circuits."
