So far this cable has been satisfactory and appears to be built well. There are no rubber pieces that are given to rot and it feels very sturdy. Check back in ten years to see if it actually held up, because that's how long I intend for it to work. It's going in a high-bend environment. There is a flickering issue, with the longer cables lengths available (I bought 10 feet), but this has to do with the principles of electromagnetism, and not this cable in particular. Any passive DisplayPort cable will have problems at 6 feet or more. Be advised that you won't actually be getting the full 16K resolution's worth of information (80GB/s) through a longer cable.
