Are there recommended floor protector pads for hardwood floors?
A shopper
on Oct 10, 2023
BEST ANSWER: I bought some very affordable screw-in feet on Amazon, to which I adhered felt tabs. You can adjust the feet and slide the stand very easily. Make sure you get feet with the right bolt size (which is the same size as the spikes), which might be mentioned elsewhere on the Monoprice website.

You can leave the included carpet spikes out when assembling. You could buy other feet that use the same thread pattern if you have hardwood floors. I ended up leaving the spikes out and just using felt pads for furniture on all 4 corners and I have been very satisfied with it.

I bought some threaded levelers: EZALOR M8 Thread Adjustable Furniture Levelers Screw in Threaded, Galvanized Steel Screw Foot Levelers, Furniture Glide Leveling for Table, Chair, Furniture Legs. These thread into the base, are adjustable and have plastic/rubber feet.

Is there a preferred orientation, width and depth? Does it matter?
Daniel V
on Sep 1, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Hi, there's no preferred orientation for the stand. This would totally depend on how you will position your stand and speakers. I hope this helps.

How are the floor spikes adjusted? Can they be removed? Can they be reduced in height so they penetrate only 1/4 inch or less into the carpet?
Ronald R Sakamoto S
on Aug 16, 2022
BEST ANSWER: The spikes can be removed or not installed. There really isn’t any height adjustment. You’d have to use a different size of spike to make a meaningful adjustment. The thread size is M8.

Are there any feet available for hardwood floors rather than carpet?
A shopper
on Sep 14, 2022
BEST ANSWER: For hardwood floors or tile, etc you can go to a popular shopping site and search for M8 adjustable furniture leg levelers 8pcs. I bought some from Litoexpe and they screw right in. They raised the stands up by ⅜” or so. You can use stick on feet but probably not as durable.

I ordered from Monoprice because of previous experience with their products, and this one did not disappoint. Excellent quality build and finish, easy assembly, and great customer service. This speaker stand is the perfect height for my AV setup, and easily handles my hefty Elac speakers at just the right height.
