Can anyone compare this with an Aeron chair? Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't think this chair could be the equal of the Herman Miller Aeron chair but it acquits itself quite well indeed and in comparison to the approximately $1000 cost of the Aeron it's just a great bargain---For the price I would recommend this chair it worked out well for me

Setting aside the obvious answer of this Monoprice chair being a tenth the price of an Aeron chair, in this chair you will tip over if you recline to far (even within the range the chair allows). That wouldn't happen in an Aeron chair. Aeron chairs are effectively heirloom quality. This Monoprice chair is not, nor is it meant to be.

BEST ANSWER: I'm no engineer but I'm going to say that's about 45...I put it all the way back and it feels like you are prone to the floor but after getting out and looking it appears to be 45ish

Nice chair that isn't overpriced
I like this chair a lot. It has adjustable arms that meet my needs. The mesh breathes nicely. I wish the recline was a bit stiffer as it is not quite as stiff as I prefer. No complaints so far.

Office work is much more enjoyable.
Great price and has all the bells and whistles. The backrest reclines and you can lock it in. Just like a lazy boy recliner but for your office.

Worth it
This chair is perfect for me. The mesh allows air to circulate around me which for me (hot climate and like to keep the windows open) is perfect. The back and head support is perfect for pushing it back and taking an impromptu snooze. Yes its not as supportive as most chairs but the trade off is the air circulation. Picked it up for 15% off which was great and would highly recommend.

"You get what you pay for"
"You get what you pay for". I live by this in most other aspects, but I thought I would give this chair a try given MP past experiences.
Typically from MP you get a pretty high quality product at a very competitive price point -- no frills or brand hype. Well in this case I should have known better. The ergonomics of this chair are clearly second rate. The lumbar support is a total joke. The chair back is "flimsy" in general and there is no way to stiffen it. Even in the locked position there is still a solid 3-4" of recline before it hits the stop which makes it very hard to sit and type in anywhere near proper position. Yes, the product was relatively cheap, but for something I spend so much time in every day... not worth the savings.
