BEST ANSWER: Yes, it ‘pulses’ while charging. If there’s a problem it flashes. Not ideal for overnight charging in a bedroom!!

Yes but more of a breathing green ring , pulsating a "glow" once every two seconds. If you are super sensitive to light then it might bother you sleeping if a foot or two away from your head on a nightstand. But otherwise I think most people would not find it to be particularly obnoxious.

While charging the light does continuously pulse green, yes. If there's an error it will flash, and once charging is finished it just glows steadily.

Is there a way to disable the glowing light so it could be used in the bedroom?

BEST ANSWER: No way to disable but I have this product in my bedroom and the blue light doesn't bother me nor does the green light either. I'm sure you could use black tape around the base to stop the light from being seen.

The plug and the cable will if it's a newer model onn tablet that uses USB-C, has 2 well rounded edges. The older onn tablets use micro-USB, 2 rounded edges on top with a more flat bottom. I looked at the most expensive onn tablet at walmart and there is no mention of wireless charging. This could be a dual purpose purchase for you though, if you have a cell phone that supports wireless charging, then just use the cable to charge the tablet. Just note that, while getting rarer these days, some phone cases may restrict the ability of wireless charging. Hope this helps!

BEST ANSWER: I figured it out, it means there's probably a piece of metal in between your phone and the charger. I took it out of the case and it started charging.

BEST ANSWER: It works on my 13, my sons 11 pro and wife’s 12. If it doesn’t work with your 13 promax it’s probably the case not the pad. The green light is too bright for my night stand

Is the top of this charger supposed to bulge? I have the micro usb version, but just bought the usb C version, and there is a very noticeable bulge in the center, by the MP logo, that causes the phone to rock and spin.

Decent
It's pretty good, but it's large compare to other vendors' chargers. It does a good job charging. It will not allow my phone to sit flat and charge; it has to rest on the camera guard of my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Smaller would be much better.

2024 version works well with Pixel 8 and a fan to keep it cool
Apparently there are older versions of this device which have multi-color lights that are on the rim of the puck. I'm reviewing what I bought in 2024: this year's device has a single blue LED that flashes to indicate the charging state.
The Pixel 8 charges from 35% to 80% battery in 55 minutes at a consistent 9 watt rate. But I needed to use a fan to keep the phone - and the charging puck - cool at 76 degrees. Without the fan, both the charger and puck get up to 105 degrees (that's pretty warm). Also, the warmer the phone and puck get, the slower the charge rate gets to prevent the whole thing from overheating. So I would only recommend this device while using a fan as shown here.

Works with display face down
If you have a case (mine also has a strap) and it's not charging, place it display side down onto the pad.. Much more convenient than taking it out of the case and works well.

Cheap and it Works
It does what is supposed to do and it looks nice on my desk. In 2023 it should have s USB-C port but it's not hard swapping cables from my charger when I need to (I have other USB-C devices that don't have wireless charging).

Great Charger for low price.
Works well with my sS22+ and charges reasonably fast. At first I thought the status lights were gimmicky, but catch your attention if you don't align the phone properly. This even works with a magnetic case that I use.
If you don't need your phone in upright position, this is a great wireless charger for a really good price.
