BEST ANSWER: Regarding this current lineup of USB-C chargers, only the 45W version (model 41987) supports the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) feature. The rest of the models support the standard USB Power Delivery (PD) feature.

I have a new 14-inch MacBook Pro that uses a 70-watt USB-C charger. I want an additional charger, will this work even though it is 68-watt?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it will work safely and effectively for daily use. If you want maximum charging speed, stick with a 70W+ charger, but for most users, the 68W Monoprice charger is a great secondary option.

Handles anything I throw at it

Sure, it's a bit under-powered for running a 15" MacBook Pro at full-tilt, but then again it's only rated for 68w. Ordered multiple units and am undoubtedly going to be ordering more (would love it if there was a 100w version though...)

I noticed that this device doesn't get as warm as conventional chargers. GaN technology must be the reason.

It seems to do what it advertises. I wish both of the ports weren't USB-C however. It would have been nice if they would have included one normal USB port as that is the type of cables I have more of.
