Does this new line of charges support USB Power Delivery with Programmable Power Supply [USB PD with PPS]? Or do they just support standard USB PD?

BEST ANSWER: Regarding this current lineup of USB-C chargers, only the 45W version (model 41987) supports the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) feature. The rest of the models support the standard USB Power Delivery (PD) feature.

Does it work abroad with 230 volts?

BEST ANSWER: If you're talking about consumer power from overseas, probably, but only 120 volts in the US. Most manufacturers now provide intelligent supplies that adapt to different voltages, especially European 230V, 50Hz. There is nothing in the literature that says that this piece will do that, though.

The input voltage range is 100-240 volts but the us style plug is built in so you would need to use an adapter for that.

Would be great if it didn't break
I really liked this charger - the portability meant it could always fit in any bag or backpack, and the fact that it worked with smaller laptops (e.g. 13" MacBooks) in addition to smaller items like Switch, iPad, etc.. But then the prongs became loose, no longer flipping in/out properly, and it stopped reliably delivering power. Unfortunately that happened just outside the 1 year warranty period so I couldn't even get a replacement. I'm used to better build quality and lifetime guarantees from Monoprice so that was a big disappointment.

Works perfectly for Mom's new iPad Pro.
I like the folding plug and the slimness of it. Works as expected. 5 stars!

Poor quality, not enough power
The first one I ordered immediately broke (the spring allowing the AC prongs to flip out broke so that they became floppy).
I got a replacement that seems OK and it can power some laptops but not others. I have a laptop that charges just fine with a 39W USB C charger but wont accept the power input from this.
It charges my phone OK, but so does everything. Would not recommend.

Not quite enough
It's underpowered for laptop use and overpowered for tablet use. I thought I might be able to get away with iGPU gaming on a 28W TDP laptop, no luck. I also tend to daisychain my tablet to my laptop which also exceeds the output. Absolutely love the form factor though, a single port 60W or a dual port 20W each would be instabuys for me.

Justvavdescrib
I needed a slim charger for behind the cabinet. This fit the requirements and is a fast charger for my iPad.
Monoprice is reliable with excellent descriptions and outstanding prices.

Works Well
Used with S22 Ultra. Supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 with correct cable (5A/100V). Consistent charging speeds, doesn't heat up as much as non-GaN charger.

Jury still out
It worked twice - fast as advertised. But then the plug broke inside the housing. Waiting for a replacement to see how long it lasts.

Lasted less than a year
I tried ordering this product back in April 2021 but Monoprice cancelled my order because I had a non-US credit card so I ordered it from Amazon (it was shipped and sold directly by Amazon.com Services LLC). I had been happily using it every day to power my MacBook Air M1. It is small but still powerful enough to run the Nintendo Switch in dock mode. The slim and flat shape and the foldable AC plugs makes it real easy to carry around. But today after about 10 months of daily use I noticed my laptop was not charging and when I checked on the charger I could see that the little blue LED was off and on closer inspection I could smell that something inside of it had burned. When reconnecting AC power I can hear a coil whine ramping up but then nothing happens and the blue LED never comes on. When I went to check the reviews on Amazon I discovered the listing for the product has been removed (the ASIN was B08V11KN7H).
I was really happy with the product but it lasted less than a year and the listing got suspiciously removed from Amazon so I can't recommend this product. Two reasons I am not rating it 1 out of 5 stars is because it didn't fry the USB port on my MacBook when it failed and I never had any issues with the folding mechanism of the AC plugs.
