Bluetooth shares the 2.4Ghz spectrum. So all bluetooth headphones might interfere with your wifi network if you use 2.4Ghz. Just change your router settings to a different channel if you hear interference. Since will solve your TV issue as well.

BEST ANSWER: (I didn't see this q till 5/21. I'm eager to see a real answer that also addresses the related question I'm about to ask, but I hope my comment will help in the meantime.) My Android phone has the ability to work with two Bluetooth audio devices (e.g. 2 headsets, headset and speaker, headset and car) simultaneously. I believe the feature or lack of it has to do with the phone (or in your case the optical-to-BT device/adapter). From its page, it looks like the Monoprice 38071 can accept optical input and send it to two BT/aptX devices. I can't imagine how the BT600ANC would get in the way of that.
BTW I "answered" an earlier question about whether the BT600ANC can be connected to two devices (e.g. laptop and phone) at the same time. I thought it could save pairing info for two (maybe more) devices but not connect to and play audio from both at the same time, but now I believe it can. Excellent.

Is there, or will there be a firmware fix that will allow the user to control whether or not ANC will work when not listening to anything, or when using the 3.5mm audio jack? Why wouldn't Monoprice make when the ANC can be used in the hands of the user? This means it's useless on an airplane if you just want to block the roar of the engines and wind and rest without listening to something else. Hopefully, this is something you have a workaround for or a firmware upgrade... Thank you.

ANC hot that Good.
In ANC mode is disappointing , could still hear the TV audio when coonected to my laptop , similar to when ANC and Ambient Sound mode is Off , Just a fraction lower.
The Fit iis comforable, syling is similar to Sony WH 1000 MX series.
Need software upgrade to improve the ANC.

Excellent Headphones for a Great Price
After 2 years owning these headphones I've decided to leave a review. This review was spurred on by a very positive interaction with monoprice technical support.
I got these headphones on a slight sale and have enjoyed them since day 1. I use them for everything including mowing the grass or even working in my woodshop. They are better than earplugs at noise control. Woodworking tools will strain the ANC capability a bit but lets be honest, these are $100 headphones and some tools like miter saws and planers are extraordinarily loud and obnoxious. My miter saw in particular screams like a Bonobo in heat. At those sound levels I can hear some 'fuzz' in the headphones as they try to keep up.
After a long hiatus I recently started playing games online on my ps5 with my brothers. PS5 unfortunately does not support bluetooth and I don't want to amass a small mountain of crappy USB dongles (I already have 5 million lego pieces to step on everyday thanks to my kids) so I decided to use these headphones wired up to my controller with the included wire.
Here comes the tech support part. As the manual states these headphones have to be off to be used wired. That's fine, I only play games once the kids are in bed in a quiet house so I don't need the ANC. All good. But I got a lot of complaints from my brothers that the mic would cut in and out. So I ended up using old garbage apple earbuds with an inline mic so I could at least play and chat while I started trying to figure out why the mic wasn't working on these headphones.
I noticed the included 3.5mm jack is only a TRS jack and did not have the mic channel. So that makes sense, my ps5 would have assumed there was no mic and defaulted to the atrociously bad built in controller microphone.
So I contacted tech support and asked if I got a TRRS 3.5mm female to female jack will the microphone work? There's a slew of reasons it may not work so I figured hey why not, easier to ask than keep troubleshooting.
The tech ACTUALLY TESTED IT. He A) Understood what I was asking and B) ACTUALLY DID IT. And then he contacted their engineering department and learnt that the internal mic in the can is not even wired to the female 3.5mm jack on the bottom of the can.
I like these headphones a lot, so instead of buying a new pair just for gaming I decided to buy an inline boom mic that plugs into the underside of the can with a 3.5mm jack. Now my favorite headphones can be easily converted into a solid gaming headset with a boom mic (I bought the vmoda one for those interested in converting these to a gaming set).
My only critique of these headphones is the bluetooth connectivity easily gets confused what it's connected to. There is not an easy way to manage which device the headphones want to connect to. Sometimes when I head out to mow the lawn I'll hear "The Voice" cut into my music every 5 seconds with "Bluetooth Connected" over and over until I hunt down the offending devices and unpair those connections. And when you use these as thoroughly as I do and when your spouse steals them cause they are so good the list of devices I have to track down and unpair can be a little frustrating.
Also being able to activate the ANC while using them wired would be a bonus.
But... lets remember the price here. $100. For that price I basically have no ground to stand on. The sound is great, the ANC is great (when on bluetooth), and it is one of the few headsets that actually has a female 3.5mm jack on the underside. Not all headphones have that jack so it makes these a really versatile set.
If I had paid $430 for the Sony 1000XM4's these are styled after... then the cons would drop a few stars on the review.
Well done monoprice, well done.

My "Go To" Headphones, Again, & Again
The touch control is BRILLIANT!!!!!! No other headphones even come close, let alone "compare." The controls are so intuitive, and work so well, that if these headphones sounded bad & had terrible Active Noise Cancelling I'd still use them. EXCEPT, they sound GREAT and the ANC is superlative. I don't think i can live life fully without these headphones.
I have other headphones from other manufacturers. You know, the usual high-dollar names. I keep those other headphones charged ONLY for the occasions when the battery needs recharging on these, which isn't very often. I wear these things all day, day after day, doing all kinds of dirty and dangerous things, and these headphones are a gift from heaven. Rarely am I NOT wearing them!

Look elsewhere.
Had high hopes for this set of headphones but they fall very short. Sound profile is flat, boring, and unbalanced. The ANC is mediocre and will sometimes not even work. I've experienced a handful of occasions where the headphones disconnect from my device even when showing as connected. I experienced a loud, high pitched buzz followed by non responsive input buttons. Thankfully they turned off after holding the power button. Pro: they're comfortable for extended periods of time and the case is a nice addition.

Good Sound; Delicate Plastic
I like the way these headphones sound - smooth detail, slightly warm and good stereo imaging. They are also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My only complaint is that the plastic covering on the yokes started to crack after about 1 year of use - and they were not subjected to rough handling. I patched the cracks with super glue and continue to use these headphones at the office - they do a decent job of cancelling office noise.

Monoprice 600 head set
Haven't had them for a veery long time but so far seem to be good quality and are doing what they were advertised to do. Price was good, compared to some other big names. Time will tell as my older Monoprice headset isn't holding up to use as well as I had hoped. But still working, just showing some wear on the ear pads.
