Why is using this cable for PoE better than using any other standard Ethernet cable?

on Aug 18, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Most standard Ethernet cables are stranded. These are solid for the same reason the electrical wire in your walls are solid, better for moving electricity efficiently. PoE = Power (Electricity) over Ethernet

Maybe a bad batch?
We threw them all away, not worth the time to return. about 6 of the ends completely fell apart when plugging the cables in. These do not match the quality I've come to expect from Monoprice products. we did, however, order regular Cat6 jumpers and they performed as we expected.
