Can the monitor be vertically oriented?
A shopper
on Jun 3, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The included stand does not rotate or accommodate a vertical orientation. You could put it on a separate mount/arm that allows that, but in general, curved displays like this one aren't ideal for portrait/vertical mode.

Without special mounts or DIY No. However its a curved display i strongly do not recommend you do this. I would get a flat panel monitor for that.

It will work, but you won't be taking advantage of the 165HZ refresh rate and with a console. You may be able to find a better monitor to suit your specific needs.

Yes, it is. You have to make sure to enable FreeSync in the monitor OSD menu, and then enable G-Sync in the Nvidia Control Panel. It has been working well with my RTX 2060 Super.

Perfect for me
Good for a mid to low budget gamer. I upgraded from an old 32” tv and feel like there was a major jump for my Xbox one. Don’t know how it compares to higher end or more expensive monitors and systems but more than gets the job done for me. Would definitely recommend.

great screen, good for the price
Awesome monitor! Once I got the settings right it worked great. The base is super unstable so I had to do some finagling to get it so it won't tip forward, but other than that its a beautiful screen that's plenty bright with good colors

The best mid-range monitor out there
This monitor is fantastic for the price. 1ms response time and FreeSync both work well, and it has been compatible with G-Sync on our RTX 2060 Super. Somewhere it said that the monitor comes with an HDMI cable, but mine did not. Only a DisplayPort cable was included, but that's what I needed. Brightness is great, probably brighter than we really need.
It's like paying for a 24" screen and getting 3 extra inches for free!

Great monitor and great price!
Great monitor. Great price. Although this monitor is a few years old (2018 I think) it serves most gaming console fans well. Yes, for $70 more you can step up to the next level of specs. However until the gaming content is commonplace and the new gaming consoles are pushing out new games that push the envelope of their true specs, this monitor is well deserved to be looked at as a gaming monitor for most casual gamers at this point in time.

MEH
This monitor claims to be 165hz/1ms but I can’t help but feel like it’s much less, I’m just not sure how to test it, and I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. I have a 144hz/1ms that looks substantially brighter, this monitor is fairly dark.

Great monitor for the price just buy it
Overall a great monitor, especially for that price. It came a few days earlier than expected and has pretty typical brightness and color when compared to my 27" Samsung VA monitor. It comes with a display port cable which I was worried about because a HDMI can only achieve 144hz at 1080p. The 165hz are legit. The only thing I would note is the monitor is quite fat which you cannot really see from the pictures, but honestly from the front you cannot notice. It has relatively thin bezels and a very minimalistic design. Freesync and the bunch, thought this item could use a better description.

It's a monitor that has a bit to desire
I have not checked out how the color really checks out and I probably wont really pay much attention to it. If this is important to you, I would not get your hopes up and there are probably better choices on the market. It shows what I need it show and had both Displayport and HDMI inputs for under $200 and was not sold out 10 weeks into COVID stay at home situation.
The packaging was alright, nothing special. The stand was a little complicated to put together, It could have been simpler. After you put it together, I do like how the monitor attaches to the stand.
It's power saver mode still emits a fair amount of light, which bothers me a bunch. The menu 'works' but very poorly. Specifically when changing to which cable input that you want to display, the left and right buttons both go in the same direction, aka you can only cycle in one direction.
I find it odd that it has a power brick. It has a interesting center screen cross hair that has two colors(red/green) and two styles, which reminds me of the old 'sharpie dot' trick on CRTs
