I ordered last week of April 2020, the 500 foot box of gray Cat6 says "Made in Taiwan". Has UL/Underwriter Labs hologram affixed, other certifications as well, great cable. Manufacture date 3/2020.

The April/May 2020 500 foot box of gray Cat6 was made in Taiwan, has all certifications and quality marks, pull box works nicely.

One review for Cat6 Ethernet Bulk Cable Product # 40658 says that it Cat6 Ethernet Bulk Cable as length markings, one says that it doesn’t. Does the currently shipping product have length markings?

BEST ANSWER: Jonathon, the 500 foot roll of gray Cat6 I ordered on the day you posted this question has the length markings, starting at 500 and counting down.

BEST ANSWER: 100% solid copper. Monoprice does not sell any Ethernet cables with CCA.

Is this cable certified for outdoor use?

BEST ANSWER: I don’t think so. You would want ‘direct burial’ cable or CMX cable. This is for inside walls and vertically between floors. CMX cable has some different rules for the jacket including a UV rating. There is no fire reading for CMX. The CMX outer jacket is a different material, usually LLDPE, which is weatherproof and UV resistant. It should be more expensive than CMR, but less than plenum. Hope that helps.

Brown & Orange look similar

Great cable good price
Great cable super easy to run. Is good high quality not the aluminum stuff. Had a box of lesser cable that wires broke often and had intermittent connections issue, deff recommend this cable and will buy again!
