Can this be used for low voltage led lights?

BEST ANSWER: Hello, due to the nature of our speaker wire, while this should work fine for that issue. We have not tested it for that setup and we can't guarantee compatibility. I hope this helps, thank you!

This is the exact wire I bought from a local electrical distributor for a low voltage LED light project. The wire had the Monoprice name printed on it. When I ran short and needed more wire I ordered directly from Monoprice. It is a class 2, in wall, rated wire. Which was exactly what I needed.

Great wire especially for the price

Really good wire especially for the price. It go here in two days and the First thing I did was test it to make sure it works. It does with no problems plus it's so much cheaper than store bought

Been using this 18/2 as well as the 18/4, 16/2 & 16/4 for many years. Hands down commercial quality and will save you a boat load compared to your local home improvement or ANY! online stores.

PROS: commercial grade!

CONS: not really a con but...not available in black for external contrasting.

Speaker Wire

Ordered this for a weight room in my school. The product was very easy to use and install. The price was a major plus...this would have cost triple at a box store in my town. And, the sound quality from the wire is excellent.

Right amount for a room

This was the perfect amount of wire for wiring my house to my receiver. This is high quality wire that can be trusted to push sound with little distortion.

PROS: Great price, great quality.
