The wire itself is good. It ships on a roll with paper ends that come off during shipping. It then takes lots of time to get it onto another roll?

Wire was fine, package spooling just fell apart leaving a tangled mess.

I used the 16/4 wire to mount a 7.1 home theater. Very easy to work with. Routing wires in walls and above drop ceiling was no problem. Internal pull string made separating left and right speaker wiring simple.

This wire was helpful in implementing a four zone audio system in a restaurant. individual sleeves are a bit thin, so use care when trimming the PVC outer sleeve.

I used this to install in-wall speakers, a pair of surround speakers on wall, as well as inside a plastic conduit for outdoor install of Monoprice's outstanding rock speakers. Easy to work with and a quality product.

Spool fell apart when I first started unwinding the wire making installing the wire just that much more difficult

This is great in wall speaker cable. It has a very thick pliable jacket. The strand count is high. The only thing I would like is 500ft spools. Or boxes.

This makes for a huge mess when pulling the wire as it will fall off the spool and be a big twisted mess. I have had to make end caps and pvc tube to hold together the broken spool. This product needs a hard plastic spool or a different design to prevent this from happening. I have been choosing other wire because of this problem. If you have the time to repair or rewind on a better spool then this is a great buy.

PROS: Good price on quality wire. The jacket is a bit stiff but it works in your favor on some wire runs.

CONS: The spool is a cardboard tube with plastic ends and the last 3 out of 4 times I received this product one end of the spool is broken off.
