I have the Macbook Air M1 which ONLY has two USB-C ports (Ugh). To get the cable to work, I had to send the HDMI through a USB-C 7-in-1 hub to convert the HDMI to USB-C. Then the USB-A on the computer side of the cable had to go through a USB-A to USB-C adapter. It worked great! Only problem is that I can't power my laptop at the same time since it also goes through USB-C...

I have the Creator 22 and it uses USB-A, which is what my computer has. I would think that a USB-C to USB-A should still work since newer phones use USB-C and I can use them on my computer.

I do not see a way to wall mount this monitor. Question: Why would you want to? It is not designed to use in a vertical position. It has an adjustable leg system in the back to tile it up on your desktop. This makes it easy to draw on. I would use a small wall bracket and shelf so that it could be used in the proper position. If danger of theft is present, use the cable lock system. Hope this helps!

Yes I’m sure with the right mount it can be, it has for back screws where the back rest is mounted on and I’m sure you can find a wall mount to match.

It allows local control (plugged directly into the PC) with the pen acting as a mouse for Windows. It does not allow remote control of a Windows PC.

How does the pen work? I work in an environment I can't have any wireless technology (i.e. bluetooth, wifi, etc).

BEST ANSWER: It works like an RFID device. It receives power from the tablet wirelessly and transmits button presses wirelessly but it does not use wifi or Bluetooth. The pen will only "power on" when close to the screen. It does not use batteries, the tablet itself wirelessly powers the pen.

It would be great if it had drivers with it.
I like the tablet size its just you can't find the software drivers mine didn't come with the promise usb driver and basically had to find the driver for a bosto 22 tablet driver. They wont let me link the bosto driver site so google it if possible.

Weak colors and brightness. Defective after a week.
Display has good tracking and very little input lag. Colors are very muted and brightness is very weak.
But after a week of use a line of dead pixels formed on the left of the screen. This is the 4th product in a row from Monoprice that has had issues.
DO NOT BUY FROM MONOPRICE!

Yup - pretty good for the price
I bought it via Monoprice's Amazon webstore.
Shipped well encased in foam with crash corners and wrapped in plastic and foam.
Monitor came with the stand mounted upside down. The "IIIP" logo should be on the bottom of the monitor. It was very easy to unscrew the stand with a generic Philips screwdriver and flop it around. Build quality is solid.
The pen feels beefy and the weight is acceptable to me (like the weight of a chisel tip Sharpie) and I like that it?s not a rechargeable or battery pen. I bought an extra pen (Product # 39948) because my old MP22?s pen broke and I was SOL (hence the new Creator22 Purchase) and couldn?t buy a replacement pen or get another branded pen to work. Pen has two mappable hotkeys.
The monitor has a ?tooth? laminate to replicate the feel of paper on the screen. There was some air bubbles around the edge of the monitor where the monitor glass meets the plastic surround, which were aesthetically disappointing but did not affect the drawing surface. The tooth laminate is very comfortable to drawn on.
Install was easy although Windows 10 cried about the drivers harming my rig. Windows 10 cries about everything. The included HDMI cable is very cheap and I used one of my own 10ft nicer ones. The USB cable was acceptable.
The new software/drivers (MP monitor is a rebranded Bosto) are only available on Monoprice. BE SURE to save drivers on a flash drive, CD or somewhere else than depending on MP to keep driver available forever when you need a new install. The Bosto website does have newer drivers for their newer monitors. I tried them and they worked (but didn?t solve any setup problems I was having).
The Creator22 drivers do not have the settings to be able to adjust tablet area mapping and it causes a problem with multiple monitors **See setup notes** Sensitivity levels and hotkey mapping work well. The drivers also added the Creator22 as an audio device called ?Bosto? and Windows defaulted to the Bosto in my sound settings. I had to go into sound settings and disable it to get my normal speakers back.
Graphic Monitor Color Quality:
I suggest color settings of R: 56 G: 50 B: 56 and brightness contrast of 100/80.
I have some high-end regular monitors and I cannot get the MPCreator22 to match. The blacks just aren't black enough nor the colors as rich. You can tweak the GPM with your graphics card a little more but it?s not going to get there. However if you don?t do a lot of subtle color work it?s fine. Or, use the ?duplicate display? in Windows to have a reference monitor with good color to look at and check your work.
Overall: for a dirt-cheap graphic pen display I am very happy. I was going to shell out $800 for a Huion but cheapness got the better of me and after a lot of cussing with settings and programs it works great. Please be aware that I am not a technical person. I still thought Photoshop6 (PS6) was a new program (ha, 2012). I am not ?with it? and if I just wasn?t BONE HEADED STUBBORN about having multiple monitors to use with the Creator22 (1 reference monitor, 1 watch tv monitor and the Creator22 to draw on) it would have worked just dandy out of the box with ONE monitor and ?duplicate displays?.
*Notes about monitor settings/setup: I have two monitors plus this graphic display. To get it to work on Windows with multiple monitors I had to set the Creator 22 as the "Main" display in the Windows 10 "Display Settings" in addition to having the Graphic Pen Monitor selected correctly in the unit's software otherwise the pen would keep trying to draw on the main monitor instead of the Graphic Pen Monitor. I also had to have ?Windows Ink? enabled on the driver software.
Getting it to work with your drawing software with multiple monitors is also another issue. I initially tried to get the Creator22 to work with PS6. It will work with PS6 but ONLY if you have the Creator22 set as the main display and it is the sole monitor or your second monitor is set to ?duplicate display? in Windows. PS6 has an offset issue with the pen and the PS6 software doesn?t have updates/drivers/options to correct the issue.
**The Creator22 drivers do not have the settings to be able to adjust tablet area mapping it has to be done in whatever drawing program you?re using**
The Creator22 works perfectly with Krita 5.0.2 and multiple monitors AFTER settings adjustment. In Krita, goto ?Configure Krita>Advanced Tablet Setting, click to ?map custom area? and set to width: 1920 height: 1080 x offset: 0, Y offset: 0

Excellent, for the price.
First, temper your expectations. This is a $300 (on sale) tablet not a $3000 tablet. That said you could very comfortably use it to build yourself up to being able to afford a professional tablet. The colors are great, stand is excellent and pen is comfortable to hold. It tracks your strokes very accurately and the calibration can be used to readjust to different viewing angles.
The software included is extremely simple and lacks most of the basic qol features wacom offers. You can calibrate the display and bind the pen button functions, that's about it. There are no multi-function/customizable buttons anywhere on the device.. The pre-applied screen protector shows scratches after use.
If you come into the purchase knowing you are buying a high quality but very bare bones system I feel you will come out being very pleased with your purchase. For a 22" IPS drawing tablet the price is fair and actually drawing on it is a pleasure. Whether you want to draw on a huge screen for fun, business or both this is an excellent choice IF you set your expectations accordingly.

Cheaper than Wacom for a reason
Using this on Mac OS X 10.12.6 the pen display functions properly only when set as the main monitor. When set as the secondary monitor, pen actions occur on the main monitor, i.e., not where the pen is being used. Also the included BostoTablet app will not run so there is no way to calibrate the display. Tech support from Monoprice was unable to help. As a cheaper alternative to a Wacom Cintiq 22 I guess you get what you pay for. Currently as my main monitor, it works OK with some but not all my drawing apps that support pressure sensitivity.
