BEST ANSWER: We do not see auto-track capability with our unit. Just the remote control to steer it around to where you want it to look (zoom included).

Does this camera support UVC PTZ control? Zoom (the conferencing software) now supports such cameras and can allow you to give a remote user control of the camera, including being able to pan and zoom. Several more expensive PTZ cameras now work with Zoom on this. I wonder if this one does? To test, plug it in, and have a remote user do "request camera control." Give them control and see what they can do...

BEST ANSWER: I've got the first one in your list; the Protocol options on the onscreen menu only show Pelco-D and Visca. I can verify that Visca works just fine. The manual says the H and P models have UVC, but nothing on my camera even mentions a model name.

This appears to support Visca. Can I buy, say, 4 of these, and control them via a video switcher that has Visca cable connections?

How long is the included usb cable and are you able to flip the image so you can mount it on the ceiling?

BEST ANSWER: Per the Description "A 16.4 foot USB cable is included." There should be an option to flip the image or you can get software to operate the camera that will flip the image.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, this PTZ camera is for video capture only. In general it's best to use a separate mic from PTZ cameras to avoid capturing the sound of the PTZ motors (they are barely audible, but would sound louder on a built-in mic). For conference room setups, we recommend using product 35521 with this camera. But for other uses, you could consider our USB Mics.

BEST ANSWER: Using the up/down, left/right, zoom functions, get your desired view. Then press the button “1” followed by the button “set”. Then do similar settings for three other views using the buttons 2 , 3, 4. To recall the desired view, press the button “1” for example, and then button “call”.

What is the closest distance that this camera is able to focus clearly upon? I was thinking of using at my desk while I'm sitting in my chair about @ 3' from the camera (sometimes possibly even a bit closer)

How do you set the presets using the remote? The manual speaks about the buttons on the remote, but doesn't have instructions for setting the presets.

Are the PTZ functions compatible with "Zoom Rooms"? I setup the camera, but when I open the PTZ function in Zoom Rooms on my iPad, it does not provide PTZ controls, just the mirroring option.

I see the field of view is 84 degrees when wide. What is it at full telephoto? 3x zoom would imply 28 degrees, but ??

Good camera, but lacks some features
The camera has a good picture and I love the PTZ features for my home Zoom setup. During the pandemic we had zoom meetings several times a week. I started putting together a nice zoom setup in our living room. This was a nice upgrade. It was nice to be able to adjust the camera w/ a remote from the couch. The picture quality is good, it works with zoom and other video conferencing apps (e.g. Google Meet/Hangout).
However, it is lacking some features. You can't control the up/down/left/right from zoom room controller. It also has a very poorly translated manual. It does have presets, but it isn't readily apparent how to save them and use them. The manual appears to have been translated from Chinese, and some of the wording is strange.
In the end though, I think it is a good camera at a fair price. I am happy with the purchase.

Not as advertized. Buyer beware.
The video camera operates as advertised, BUT...
It was advertised as coming with a 16.4-foot USB cable. This is not the case!!!! It comes with 10-foot cable.
I have been waiting for weeks for a replacement USB 3.0 16.4-foot cable with out a replacement. Keep getting the runaround.
Monoprice continues to have false advertising about the cable length.
Buyer beware!

Good conference cam
For the price paid, this is a good conference cam for small huddle spaces and remote working. Video quality is good and unlike digi zoom, maintains good pixelation at 3x. Multiple Connectivity options available and use of presets for various positions (sitting, standing, zoom) is a plus.

Nice camera for the price
Camera mounts easily with included bracket and was very easy to install and use with Zoom. The remote allows full control of the camera with panning and zooming.
