BEST ANSWER: Tips should be replaceable because the are held in place by a nut.. Tips like this usually last a long time because they are only "on" for the duration of the soldering.

BEST ANSWER: Just for US and southern half of Japan. Sticker on it says "110 - 130". (It'll actually work at lower volts like 100v, but won't get as hot.)

100 watt?
Maybe I expected too much but this thing can't solder a ground wire to a potentiometer case nor does it get things hot enough to solder ground wire to spring foot on strat bridge. A true iron is more suited for both jobs but this will solder light wire connections. I would not suggest for guitar wiring as it's just TOO light. Don't mistake the on light for something projecting light, it lights up nothing where you may think it would.

Saturday Night Special
Big upgrade from my lower powered soldering iron, saves a lot of time waiting for the solder to melt.
