How does the speaker mount on top? Screws?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the speakers simply sit on top of the stand’s top plate. There are no screws included or pre-drilled holes for attaching the speaker to the stand. You may use non-slip pads, blu-tack. to help keep the speaker from sliding.

There aren't any holes for mounting, I just have mine sitting on top of the stand and it's been fine. But if it's a high traffic area and you have kids/pets there's potential for them to get knocked-off.
Maybe a double-sided tape or strapping the speaker to the top plate would keep them secure, but nothing to that effect is included

The ad says they are solid cherry wood but the spec says it’s made of MDF and composite wood. Which is true?

Fantastic stands, solid build quality, and good value.

Very impressed with these speaker stands and their value for money. solid build quality and the MDF wood has a highly realistic finish. Would like to see additional mounting plate options with holes so I can screw my speakers to the stands, as anyone with children or pets would probably agree.

Elegant addition for any room

Great value for the money speaker stands. Very well made and no issues assembling. Hardwood floors so had to purchase M8 rubber adjustable feet. Stands are made in Taiwan. Highly recommend.

Good stands at a great price !

Surprisingly well made. The top and bottom are made of nicely powder coated steel AND the columns that hold these up are real wood! Nice product at a good price!
