Can this stand be used for subwoofers?

BEST ANSWER: Not unless one installs a bass driver, low pass crossover and a high powered class D amplifier and power supply. Of course, not being sealed, it would be ‘free-standing’.
Speaking of which. I occasionally use mine to stand upon and thus become my platform for my speech making!

If your sub has rubber fee with grip, yes. Subs vibrate and that could cause it to gradually "walk" off of it. I would not consider the surface as "grippy". Proceed with caution.

This stand is very large and you should not have any problem placing a subwoofer on it. I would take the measurements from both subwoofer and stand and compare them.

Yes, the stand is very sturdy. Just make sure the dimensions on the subwoofer allow it to sit on the stand correctly.

Are the legs adjustable (i.e. for leveling a turntable)?

BEST ANSWER: The legs are not adjustable, but these are nice stands. They are quite large and are more for an amp to set on, which is how I use mine. byw, I use playing cards to level my turntable. Hope this helps!

is this stand stackable?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, but the legs are very short. So any device on the bottom shelves must be less than 4” tall. It doesn’t appear longer legs are available. In my case My amplifiers are 8” tall so stacking wouldn’t work for me. Keep in mind you likely also want some air flow above your device.

It does not appear the stand was designed to be stacked based upon the way the caps on the top of the legs are made. If you were to place another stand on top, there would be nothing to hold it in place.

I realize the unit is 18.7" deep, but what is the coverage of the legs themselves. They appear to be recessed from the edges, so what is the depth from front to back when measuring from the bottom of the legs?

BEST ANSWER: Or, to look at in a slightly different way, the platform extends slightly more than 1/2 inch beyond the outer diameter of the legs, at each corner.

Do these include the hardware to allow adding this as an extra shelf to the 4-shelf XL rack? Specifically, 4x plastic disks and 4x connecting screws?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, It does not come with the hardware to solidly add it as an extra shelf. I was able to add it to my rack, to put my turntable on, but you wouldn’t be able to lift the rack by the top shelf.

BEST ANSWER: Sure, but why would you stack amps on top of each other. Heat issues would be more of a concern than weight.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, this item can carry up to 200lbs. Since Mc312 is only 105lbs, then the stand should be able to carry the amp. I hope this helps.

Real nice amp stand
This stand is much more than I expected both in looks and in quality, I did not expect this level of either at under $50. It looks great and is extremely sturdy, the amp I am putting on it weighs 104 lbs, so to test the stand I stood on it, yep my fat butt weighs 225, the stand took it no problem at all. It?s nice these days to get a product that surpasses all your expectations, nice job Monoprice!
