I have 6 pairs of evoQ 6.5 inch 8 ohm ceiling speakers. I assume this is perfect to power them, correct? If I decide to add floor speakers will I need another amp?

can you control the individual zone volume from the front panel switch?

BEST ANSWER: You can control volume from the front panel, but not for each zone. The only individual zone control is an on/off switch. The volume control is for all speakers.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your inquiry. It appears this item has no manual included. However, this is an easy-setup speaker selector.
Just hook the amplifier up to “AMP A” on the back of this selector, and then turn the “Number of Speakers Pairs” knob on the back of the selector to match the number of speaker pairs the user will install. For example, you have 3 pairs of speakers, connect the speakers to port “PAIR 1” , “PAIR 2”, and “PAIR 3” on the back, turn the “Number of Speakers Pairs” knob to “3-4”.
Then select “AMP A/B” and button “1”, “2”, or “3” with front panel push-buttons.
I hope this helps! :)

Recommendation for an amp to accompany this? Running 10 pairs of in ceiling 8 ohm speakers.

I bought this unit around 5 month back and I just connected it. I have 7 pair of speaker and one amp. I can only hear from left and right is not working. so all speaker attached to the right side is not produce any sound. what is the cause and how should I correct this?

Solid, well-built, adaptable for 6-12 pairs.
Solid, well-built, functions well. Nice plus is the impedance-adjustment based on how many pairs of speakers actually connected.

Fantastic Device!
This is a fantastic and economical distribution device for a whole house speaker system. Before its installation, the system never worked as desired. Now it works great!

Awesome but?
Looks awesome! Lose unit inside both units I received. Sent one back because speaker number control on back of unit was inoperable. Poor quality control but hope and expect it?ll turn out a great value nonetheless since there?s no other unit regardless of price I could find anywhere else!

Nice unit that was a good replacement for my old Niles device. Only issue was the the labels did not stick.
