Will this work to power up my cobra cdr 820 dash cam?

BEST ANSWER: I use mine to power my dash cam. It is long enough to be threaded through and under the roof and side pillar trim. The problem will be whether your USB socket will have the correct power rating and requirements for your dash cam. The cable it's self, is of very high quality and durability.

I need it for my Nest thermostat to connect to my Apple laptop. Will this work?

The USB-A connection would definitely fit into your laptop but whether or not your Nest thermostat would have the right port or allow for control directly through your laptop would be another question.
It would be best to contact Nest directly with the model number of your Nest device and ask what port it has.

Saved the day.
- Works great as a replacement for Leopold keyboards and older Blue Snowball microphones.
- I use a Snowball in video calls for work, and the included cable finally gave out.
- Only had it for a couple weeks now, but it works just as it should so far.

Mini-USB cable that just works
I don't know why Blue Yeti still uses Mini-USB, but it does. What's worse, the cable that came with my microphone stopped working. The only spare Mini-USB cable I had was only 6" long, which made for a really comic looking connection to my computer. Hop on Monoprice and a few days later I had this wonderful replacement that just works.
