connected from generic Chinese USB-C dock to HP ProBook Laptop USB-C dock port. Laptop charges through dock to laptop and USB data devices plugged into USB ports on dock work on laptop but video ports on dock are not working through this cable to laptop. Purchased the 3 ft cable as an extension since the 3 inch long cable (that works) that comes with the dock is going to lead to broken USB-C ports very quickly it is so short. Is this the wrong cable? everything works except the video ports through this cable. Cable ends both marked IIIP

Did not work for me
I bought this cable to charge a Pixel 3a. The cable quality is fine, but unfortunately it does not fit well. It requires some fiddling with to get it to start charging and the slightest movement to the phone disconnects it.
