Not without an adapter. An iPhone 8 needs a Lightning connector on one end and this has USB on both ends. Try the attached item for USB A to Lightning.

No, iPhone 8 uses Lightning to charge, not USB-C like this cable. You would also need an adapter (USB-C to Lightning) for this cable to meet your needs.

I have three of these cables and none of them work on my iPad Pro. Does anyone know why?

BEST ANSWER: You have to use the proper power adapter. Most of the small adapters that shipped with phones won't provide enough power to charge the iPad. Mostly the newer adapter require USB C to USB C cables. See Apple's support article HT210133
(However, you could use an A to C cable to charge (probably slowly) if connected to the right powered hub, or monitor with a USB A port. The older Thunderbolt Displays provide enough juice, so some newer monitors might as well.

Sturdy and bright color
The cable feels durable, and it's rolled up in my pocket or in the console of my truck a few times, same as ever. Connectors are well machines and well formed with the cable.

I've been on Computers years before MS-DOS released. I Use Monoprice.
Love these. Love all Monoprice Cables. Plus all the other random items I've bought from Monoprice. Earbuds, $20 Headphones, etc. No they aren't "Beats" but Beats aren't $20-$40.
I've been buying, using, and praising Monoprice for over 15 Years.
Note: Always buy extra. People will want and possibly take your cables.
And you can afford to be generous with Monoprice's prices.
My Bio - Been using & abusing computers for 45 years ( TI-99-4A). Have a 3.9 GPA in Network Technology. System Tweaker and Cusser. Traveled the U.S. as a member of a Tiger Team in the 80's introducing the Air Force to the future.
Don't buy crap cables.
