BEST ANSWER: The TSA allows up to 100Wh power banks. This power bank is rated at 10050mAh or 10.05Ah. It contains a Li-Ion battery pack that is rated at 3.7V. To calculate the Wh value, divide the Ah value by the V value. In this case: 10.05Ah / 3.7V = 37.184Wh. This is below the maximum 100Wh that the TSA allows.Enter an answer to this question.

Yes, it's just a power storage, no different than the battery in your phone or laptop. Just remember it's in there, so if the security screener asks what electronics you have in your bag you can tell them and not have to go through hand inspection.

I believe you can, although I have never done that with this power bank. I have taken other, lower mAh rated power banks on planes before with no issues.

What does the button do?
Jonathan C
on Aug 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
The button is to allow you to view the remaining charge of the power bank via the 4 LEDs.
You can also double click the button when the power bank is in use to power off the power bank, if needed.

Will this work to recharge a small lightweight laptop?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
Considering how little power this would output it is unlikely you can get a laptop to charge in a reasonable time frame.

"Up to 3A": is that between both output ports at the same time or from one? As in, could I get 3A from just the USB-A output?

BEST ANSWER: Nope, we just use a standard apple charger. If you have a stronger charger it will charge the battery faster. But it isn’t required.

Why does my block outlet get hot?
A shopper
on Dec 21, 2021
BEST ANSWER: It should not get too hot, but it can get warm. USB PD can output 18 watts, which is enough power to make the plug warm. If it is too hot to touch, try a different cable. A short, high quality cable will provide less resistance, so less voltage drop, and less heat created.

Almost a necessity.
I have gone from considering these a luxury to being a practical necessity. So convenient! Charging rate to the power bank and then to my phone is very fast. In fact sometimes if I can't let the phone sit by a wall outlet for charging I use these in my house for a quicker charge. And when away from the house they are indispensable! Lastly, they make an excellent travel accessory.

No and Yes
I bought two. The first was returned for replacement because it would no longer charge. The second one was returned about a week later when it would no longer charge my phone. I am waiting for the replacements to be shipped.
When they worked, they were great!

I have not used it yet.
I bought the power bank due to recently purchasing a MacBook Air. Now having 3 portable, electronic devices, that need to be recharged, when I am on the go, this power bank should come in handy.

Never worked.
I bought this over a year ago but never got any use out of it. It charges up but once I plug something into it, it then powers down. I figured at first it was due to the device or cable I was trying to charge/use but it seems to do that no matter what I plug into it and no matter what cable I use. I waited to long to test it out so returning it was not an option.

Perfect for light travellers.
Bought for my trip abroad. It came in very handy on my 20-hour journey of air travel and layovers, and throughout the rest of my trip through rural South America.

10050mAh? No. Actually only 3300mAh......
Always wondered why this wouldn't even fully charge my 4000mAh phone. Tested it with a USB power meter, from 0 to 100% multiple times, and it only holds 3300mAh of charge..... Another crappy monoprice item that isn't as advertised. Don't know why i even bother ordering from this company anymore...........

Great power bank
Just the ticket for charging my phone while at day long volleyball tournaments. And the power indicator light is a nice touch.
