If I have one input (one wire pair) and am going go to two sets of speakers (two wire pairs) what is the best way to set the jumpers on the side of the unit?

BEST ANSWER: Just to confirm this is for a constant voltage system. That said, your single input is okay. You will then run your pair of wires to the first speaker and then continue to the 2nd speaker. (+ Of both speakers to the + of the volume control, - of both speakers to the - of the volume control.) //

What's the depth behind the faceplate? I expect it needs a very deep J box?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the depth including the knob is 3.2 inch. The depth behind the faceplate is 2.2 in. I hope this helps.
