How many channel can be on at the same time while in each channel i connected a pair of 8ohm speakers and the input is connected to zone two of a receiver with 6-16 ohm?

BEST ANSWER: In my system, I have a Bluetooth compatible receiver that I had 5 sets of speakers connected.to it. and all ten speakers played together at the same time just fine. My phone is connected through the Bluetooth receiver and the SSVC-6.1 has volume controls that can adjust each pair of speakers (L+R). I have one channel as a spare. In your situation, you will need to obviously turn on the Zone 2 on your receiver as the SSVC has no amplifier built in.

You can use all of them at the same time. Keep in mind, power will be split among all speakers! Go prudent on power even if receiver has big power claims. This unit protects the receiver well and I’ve used it several times for smaller, jobs with no issues.

That seems more like it would be the shipping dimensions - audio components aren't normally that wide. Does anyone have the actual product dimensions (including feet)?

The way I have mine set up - the source is a Sonos Port and the app controls the volume. It is variable based on the way the app is set up and how you want to increase and decrease the global volume. I used the Monoprice speaker selector to adjust the individual rooms with a db meter to ensure balance throughout the house. I hope that helps.

BEST ANSWER: I have this selector running my 'wall of sound' with a total of 16 individual speakers running simultaneously, amp is Yami R-S202 with the B speaker output feeding the SSVC-6.1, with some speaker's daisy chained in parallel, to the best of my knowledge and based on the system performing flawlessly for months, that's the beauty of the impedance matching circuitry, system never clips, so you should not have to worry about speaker ohms.

Can I use a 500 watt at 4 Ohm amplifier with the SSVC-6.1 ??
A shopper
on Jan 25, 2024
BEST ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can use a 500 watt at 4 Ohm amplifier with the product https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=38160 . The SSVC-6.1 Speaker Selector is designed to connect and safely control multiple speaker pairs with a single amplifier. It has automatic impedance protection circuitry and can handle 100 watts/channel continuous power with a 4.6-ohm minimum amplifier impedance when four 4-ohm speakers are selected. Therefore, it should be compatible with the 500 watt at 4 Ohm amplifier.

Can I connect two SSVC 6.1 Speaker Selector, safely, to get 12 channels of impedance matching speaker selector paired of 4 ohm or 8 ohm speakers? If so, how would I wire this device, safely, my amplifier.
I was thinking I might be able to do one of these two options:
Option 1: Connect amplifier A output to one of the Speaker Selector, “From Amplifier” connector, and amplifier B output to the other Speaker Selector, “From Amplifier” connector.
Option 2:
Step 1: Connect amplifier A output to one of the Speaker Selector, “From Amplifier” connector.
Step 2: Then connect the other Speaker Selector, “From Amplifier” connector to Speaker Selector, “Zone 6 Speaker” connectors in Step 1.
Option 3:
Do you sell or know of a device can cover 8 to 12 zones with volume control?

SSVC-6.1 makes it all possible
The MP-T65RT's have found a rightful place in my wall of sound (that's them at the top joined together to form a beam), and rightly so. They produce clean, clear sound and are a great value. They joined company with Polk LS-90's, Monitor 10's, Wharfdale's, 2 powered subs, one being the Monoprice Select 8", the other an 8" Martin Logan, satellites by Martin Logan & Mitsubishi & Polk. All made possible by a Bluetooth Yami R-S202 and a Monoprice SSVC-6.1 impedance matching speaker splitter (that's the key ingredient). I can play any or all and do A / B comparisons. But mostly I play them all together and thank the gods of stereo.

Perfect with Sonos Amp
I bought this for hooking up multiple speaker pairs to my Sonos amp. Works great - I currently drive three pairs of speakers simultaneously without a hitch. The volume controls are key to volume equalization. I previously had a similar model speaker selector from Monoprice without the volume controls, and I had a problem with differing volume levels that causes one pair of speakers to be overpowering at listening volumes. This solved that problem.
I used the current Sonos Amp with this. I had the first generation Sonos Amp (that was obsoleted by S2) that would frequently fault out when driving three pairs of speakers. I do not have this problem with current gen Sonos amp.

Worked exactly as desired.
From the speaker connections on my stereo amplifier, I connected the SSVC-6 to its inputs for Left and Right channels. The outputs were then connected to the pairs of ceiling speakers in the different rooms. Plugged it in and now enjoying the music throughout the house and patio. The on/off button is nice to isolate rooms that you don't want music playing in. Highly recommend.
