BEST ANSWER: No I don’t believe so.
The unit comes with a 12V AC/DC adapter, so you might be able to try it using the 12V cigarette lighter port in a car

If it can provide 12 VDC @ 2000 mA. That's what the wall wart puts out. And the plug would need to fit. It's 1/8" OD barrel-type connector.

Yes, but the car USB port will not provide the power requirements for the fast charging. Use Monoprice item 21675 for the fast charge.

I do not think so. It has a round power port that leads to standard plug.

BEST ANSWER: Not directly
The iPhone 8 was the first to have built in wireless charging capability
You can add wireless charging capability to a iPhone 7 by purchasing a wireless charging case (the case has the wireless receiving coil plus electronics built in)
This charger is compliant with the Qi standard so I it would work with any Qi compatible charging case for your 7 or any later iPhone (8 or higher)

It must be right on the pad where the + sign is. You also have to be careful with the type of case you have on your device as this can also prevent charging.

Worked as intended. Perfect fit.
Works as advertised. Charges both of my iPhones 8's from ~20% to 100% in about 90 minutes. A little slower than my dedicated (hardwired) charger but no biggie as I usually use this base for overnight charging anyways.

Wireless charging pad
Have had this for a few days and it works well. Charges my iPhone X fast and not too fussy on where the phone needs to be placed on the pad.

Charging pad
In order for your phone to charge the phone needs to be placed correctly on the pad. There is a narrow sweet spot, outside of that it won't work. For that minus one star. Charges two phones simultaneously.

Average wireless charger
Cant charge through anything but a reasonably thin case. Other wireless chargers work through a pop socket, but this one does not.

We charge an iPhone and my Note each night. Does the job reliably. Does run warm, but not hot.
