Hello, this cable is stereo. The way you can tell the difference is to look at the mini jack connector, if it has 2 insulators it's stereo, if it has 1 insulator it's mono. Hope this helps!

Yes, double post end fits into stereo right and left RCA aux. inputs, but single post end does not fit into phone aux. port far enough to make connection without taking phone case off.

Has the ring/tip soldering been fixed yet? I don't want to waste another purchase to find out it is still split-mono instead of stereo.

Mono not stereo
Not a stereo cable. Mono only. Very high quality if you are looking for a mono cable with 2 outputs; but really should be explicitly stated it is mono.

Why couldnt that designate L/R channels?
No denying the build quality is some of the best, but the fact that both Left and right channels are the same color and there is no designation to tell the two apart is something that needs to be addressed. For this money it shouldnt be hard request to change the red anodizing to black.

Quality Construction, but...
Well made cable, but did not see that there is no way to tell left from right channel as both RCA connectors are red. Easy enough to figure out, but Monoprice should understand basic audio conventions by now.

THICC
Very nice cables. Well constructed, sound great. Look and feel expensive. The ends are big though. On some of my equipment that has the female RCA somewhat recessed, they would not fit.
