BEST ANSWER: These cable are rated as HBR3 which can support bit rates up to 32.40 Gbps and supports either the DisplayPort 1.3 or 1.4a standards. Both standards, in theory, can handle 1920 x 1080 @ 240 fps.

It can do 120hz in 4k and 60hz in 8k. If you are using this with a samsung tv and it talks about the motion rate of 240 it is actually 120hz not 240.

Yes definitely, FHD 240Hz can be achieved with DP 1.2 this câble can do 8k 60Hz and 4K 120Hz so it leaves headroom for the future as well.

BEST ANSWER: Short Answer: Yes
Long Answer: Anything Displayport version 1.2 and up should be able to handle 1080p @ 240 Hz, now the limiting factor is both the input/output of your devices.

Do these cables support 1440p @ 240hz? Apparently a lot of 1.4 cables dont actually support this unless they specifically say so.
