What about letter sized folders? Do they have side rails or just the rail system for legal hanging folders? Is there hardware you sell if not provided?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the initial version only has rails for the larger legal size, but we are currently developing an adapter for letter-size and it should be available in Q4, 2019. Alternatively, front-to-back rail kits from other brands would work as well. Thanks for checking.

Can you sit on the cabinet like the 2 drawer version?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, it is possible because the materials and build quality are the same. But it is not recommended because the taller height makes it less stable and makes it awkward for sitting. The 2-drawer model is also low enough that it is easy to keep both feet on the floor for added stability, which might not be true for this model.

I bought the letter size adapter for the bottom drawer, but it does not fit in any configuration (width or length). If it does, you should include a picture/documentation to explain. Very frustrating. How does the adapter work?

Can you confirm that the height is 19.6" based on your description is 15.7" x 19.6" x 24.6" (399 x 498 x 625 mm)?

Well done, filing cabinet pickers!
Second one of these I've purchased. I could hardly believe my wars when my design-conscious-but-quite-disorganized 23 year old daughter looked at mine and asked if she could take it away, for her own use at her apartment in another city. "Nope. Love mine, and it's full of my own files. But I'll keep my eyes open for a cheap, used file cabinet for you."
Several weeks later, I noticed in a Monoprice marketing email that these were on sale, but only in certain colors. Wouldn't you know it?The color I was hoping for was the SALE item with the lowest price. Now I'm a minor hero to my daughter right before Fathers Day; she's getting her papers and bills organized for the first time ever; and I'm expecting an unusually nice necktie this Sunday. Plus the overall economy wins, too. What's not to like, there?

Solid Non-Tipping File Cabinet
very nice file cabinet especially for legal files as that is what it is targeted to. The small drawer on top you really need to remove the plastic tabs that lock it into place as it doesn't allow you to get at stuff directly below it, that way it slides out of the way when you need to get at stuff stored below it. The other mod I needed to make was to remove the letter file rails and add a rail that would allow me to use the whole drawer for letter sized files gaining 5+ inches of space, see attached photos. Doing these two mods makes this file cabinet perfect to use in your office for letter sized filing.

Very nice. Easy to roll around. Takes up little space. It would be great if there were also a compact two-drawer file. Just a few more inches taller would get the job done.
