Will this power a 16" 2019 Macbook Pro?

BEST ANSWER: I've been using it to power one and it seems fine. I don't have a sense for how long it takes it to charge, though. So it may be longer than with the 96w one included with the computer.

It's only 3.125" x 3.125" x 1". Identical to MacBook pro 87W. The dimensions in the top answer are actually for the box that it comes in.

BEST ANSWER: No, I bought this thinking I could use the USB C cable to charge and connect my laptop to my monitor. It can only be used for charging my laptop at a slow speed.

Too noisy under load.
The unit was distractingly loud under load. Like the February 13 reviewer, I'm doubting the quality of the coils.
Also, as noted in other reviews, the unit is unusually large and heavy for a charger providing only one port.
I returned my unit for a refund.

Good purchase
Got this on sale to quickly charge my portable power bank and for my laptop. I'm not sure if I've been able to test the full rated power of this, but it absolutely works well. I did not find it was falling out of the wall socket like some other people reported. It seemed firmly in the wall socket and didn't have any play. Overall I'm very happy with this and think it is well made.

This thing is economically priced, and rock solid. It also delivers the advertised wattage, doesn't get hot, and comes with the cable. The only negative thing is, it's enormous. I mean, like, it's freakin' huge. What's worse, the outlet prongs are situated in such a way that it takes up two vertical "wall wart" spots on the three power strips I tried it on. This is the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5.
