I am currently using it with a condenser microphone that requires phantom power. I've had no issues with it.

It works fine for me. Any XLR cable that has 3 pins at each end should work.

BEST ANSWER: These XLR connector cables will work with the Monoprice Monolith amplifiers. The source feeding the amps should also support XLR connectors. XLR is usually used on pro audio or high end equipment so make sure you know before ordering.

How does the quad shielding compare to the 97.5% copper braid shielding of the premier line? Does the quad have a percentage of shielding to compare to the premier? Is the quad shielding totally a wrap or does it include a braid?

Used these on a world tour.
I tour and bought these for the artist I worked for. Amazing cables. As good as neutrik. Don't listen to the other review about phantom power, it works fine with it.

Nearly silent and YES it passes phantom power!
The technology isn't new but the quad core common mode rejection in affordable mic cables is a recent development. These are EXTREMELY quiet! And to anyone concerned about phantom power use can rest assured that your favorite tube mic will be very well fed it's 48V DC!

Good cable, doesn't work with phantom power
I like the size (gauge) of this cable, and it works well enough, but won't pass phantom power unfortunately.
