is the back of the housing smooth - will it scratch wood floors?

BEST ANSWER: It has an all metal housing. It is flat and smooth but If you are worried about fine wood flooring you should probably get one with a plastic housing.

Although it is smooth,, it could scratch a wood floor. I would recommend some felt or rubber feet to take the chance away

I wall mounted mine. If it's going to be on a wood floor, I would put either rubber or felt pads on the bottom.

I think it maybe at least 14 gauge I have some just like this that are Furmans and they are identical at half the cost and I have had no problems out of them

Sharp looking surge protector power strip

Real happy with the surge protector. It looks nice on my patio, the specs are good and it will protect a television used outdoors. So far all is good

Good for the price

Fairly well put together box. Seems like you could fix anything that failed since it can be disassembled. Status lights are nice.

I wish the power cord wasn't as stiff and laid out better.

Good power strip for music gear

Nice power strip for use on a state with music gear. My only complaint is that it needs a longer cord for this use. A six foot cord is ok for the office but not for a studio or stage.
