BEST ANSWER:The metal pieces are 13 inches long by 1 7/8 wide. measured from the top. It tapers. I use this to mount my mini-itx computer case to the bottom of my desk. It doesn't hang down like a traditional ATX case (but you can mount it like that if you choose to)

This bracket was absolutely perfect for mounting my Razer Core X to the underside of my desk. The straps perfectly fit just outside of the mesh area for venting the device. Was easy to install and can imagine it being useful for many undermount systems
The straps were a bit difficult to adjustThe square holes in the bracket were larger than they should have been and the screws supplied were larger diameter than necessary. In general, I was satisfied and the product performed as advertised
