Is this cable 3 pin to 3 pin XLR?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is a standard XLR cable, with proper pin out. The locking end is quite secure. Be aware there’s a strong shield, so the cable is not as flexible as basic/cheaper units. Order two for R and L channels, as they are not paired like many RCA cables. Good quality.

I believe the answer is " it's a three pin male to three pin female XLR" cable. It made a world of difference connecting my preamp to amp.

What is the capacitance of this cable?

BEST ANSWER: I don’t believe the specific capacitance of this high quality cable is posted anywhere. My first thought is your reason for asking the question. If you’re using this cable as a short run interconnect cable which seems your are because this cable was specifically designed for use in this way, the importance of capacitance seems negligible since no noticeable if any roll-off or outside interference will exist especially considering the high quality shielding this cable has. Typically, lower capacitance is an important conservation for only long runs for use in connecting musical instruments.

A++++ and then coz
Makes no sense paying more for an audiophile-grade XLR connecting cable. I quickly noticed a considerable improvement in sound after replacing my other cables with these. They?re unequivocally A++++ and then some, regardless of price! I also love how these cables so easy bend!

Great xlr cables
I was using Monoprices regular xlr cables, and wanted to give these a try after a very positive experience with the Monolith speaker cables. I was not disappointed. The Monolith xlr cables have more detail and Improved imaging. Very nice!

Nice cables for the price.
Great XLR balanced audio cables, well constructed. I have six of them. PS Audio BHK system DAC to preamp, preamp to monoblock amplifiers. Anthem STR preamp to amplifier. I'm very satisfied with these cables, as well as the they look. My only complaint, I'd like to see more of a selection of lengths.

Pleasantly surprised. A great Value for sonic superiority.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting anything special but was I wrong. I am now hearing very clear highs along with subtle overtones and a larger sound stage. A well defined, focused image with lots of air. A significant improvement over the old cables. I just ordered RCA Monolith cables for the turntable hoping for the same improvement for my vinyl.
