BEST ANSWER: I use these with my iPhone7 all day long. Great headphones for the price. Only complaint is the noise canceling has a separate power switch and can be left on after you turn off Bluetooth. Not a big deal but I could imagine if you forget to turn both off you could kill the battery and not know it till you go to use them again. I’d buy these again

Yes, you just have to pair them over Bluetooth on your device via Settings -> Bluetooth. The ANC and Bluetooth are independent, so you can use either function separately or both simultaneously.

Yes. Syncs flawlessly with iPad, iPod, & iPhone. Just be sure only one device has Bluetooth activated and within a few feet. Otherwise, it will compete between any device with Bluetooth on.

The product manual states that the headphones must be powered ON for the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) feature to function. Turning the ANC on and off is done with a slide button that is on the right earpiece and separate from the other controls on the left.

Yes, it comes with a zipper case that is fairly hard and has netting on the inside to hold the included manual, charging cable, and auxiliary cable. The answer form doesn’t allow links or images, so I guess just imagine a black, plastic taco shell with a 9” spine and 5.5” inches tall, with a radial zipper.

Yes, there is a semi hard fabric case that holds the headphones in an efficient, folded manner. I love the headphones. I travel with them. Noise canceling is good. Sound quality is very good. At this price, they are spectacular.

I mean... i wouldnt ever wear any over the ear headphones for working out... but i suppose they would work with no issue. they do fit snug, so i would imagine they would be fine. not sure what would disqualify them from not being good for working out.

BEST ANSWER: The ANC is not as good as a Bose QC II, but it is surprisingly good with no eardrum-stretching pumping with with sudden impulses. I can use these to listen to podcast dialog at normal volumes while pushing a lawnmower. Impossible with ANC turned off, even though the cups provide reasonably good sound isolation by themselves.

Overall, not all too bad. I do wear glasses and use these at work, which has a HVAC unit that continually makes white noise. These headphones do let in a little noise but not a lot. I have used these on airplanes and there's no noise pollution; which makes me think that what I'm hearing is only at work.

It seems to work well, although I have nothing to compare it to since I have never owned another pair of noise canceling headphones. Consumer reports compared them favorably with Dr. Dre noise cancelling head phone which cost about 7 times as much.

It not only cuts down extraneous and ambient noise in the room but seems to enhance the fidelity and depth of the music at the same time. I'm not sure why there is even an option to have it not turned on.

How do I tell if the power switch is on?

If this is on (and the headphones are charged) a green LED will light on the right ear cup. The power switch for the bluetooth is the round button on the left ear cup. This is a multi function button, but if bluetooth is on, there will be a blue LED light on the left ear cup. If bluetooth is in pairing mode, then this LED will flash red/blue.

Note there isn't a switch in the traditional sense, that has two positions. You turn it on and off by pressing and holding the button. When it's on, the small LED next to the micro USB charging port flashes on briefly every second or two.

Do you think these headphones would be able to block enough noise of a gas lawn mower to be able to hear music?

They work good with steady constant sound but when a baby on the plane screamed out , well, just ouch. The random sound will get through. But a steady drone will be pleasantly muted. Well worth the price. I recommend them especially at their low price.. They reproduce music and movies great.

It depends on how far away and how loud the noise is. I mainly use it upstairs and it blocks outdoor noise well enough without having the volume so high as to blow out your ears. These are super comfy to wear and have great sound. I highly recommend them.

does this flip out into a shape like the letter omega (Ω) the way (wired) Sennheiser 280s do? my kingdom for bluetooth headphones that don't press the ear cups on my neck when hanging around my neck.

BEST ANSWER: These are a little tight on the edges so they will push your glasses a little bit. It really depends on the type of glasses you have too. If the temples are flat, you will feel it a bit more than if the temples are round. The noise cancellation on these headphones are not that great but overall, I would recommend these headphones.

Not very well. When I wear my reading glasses (needed to see my phone, etc), the earcup seal is broken, and noise-cancelling is diminished. They also become slightly uncomfortable, due to pressiure on the temple. This is probably true with any over-the-ear headphone.

Yes. The earphones have a 3.5mm jack. Mine came with a cable with 3.5mm plugs on both ends. The music sound quality is OK, but not nearly as good as Monoprice’s cheaper wired earbuds. I think that they are an excellent value for wireless noise canceling headphones, not so much as wired music headphones.

BEST ANSWER: I don't know the bose so I can't compare but they do fold nicely. Sound is great, noise cancelation works well. Only complain is that the band broke in the middle, but only the plastic. Under it is a metal band which cannot break so the headphones are as functional as they were. I was not particularly rough with them so I believe they are weak there. But overhaul I love these, would buy again.

I don’t know about brand B, but these do fold and come with a reasonably sturdy carrying case. There’s a picture in the description section of the Monoprice page for the BT-300ANC. I’m quite happy with mine. Not great hi-fi but good for the price. Cuts the noise level of a lawnmower noticeably, but nowhere near silent of course.

These headphones are adjustable and fit my adult head just fine. Only issue might be that after hours of watching a movie they become uncomfortable, due to pressure on ears, and need to be taken off....giving my ears a little rest. do you need a cable when using in an airplane ? The cable gets tangled up especially when you get on and off your seat. What I need is complete wireless. Are the airplane jacks even have bluetooth capability?

You can be completely wireless to your device.
With regard to air travel.
If the airline streams their entertainment via your own device. Then it will be wireless.
But if they are still using the fixed screen in the seat in front of you. That is not Bluetooth and will have to be wired.

Just came back from a long flight. It reduced the jet engine noise to murmur with the audio way up front. Turned the noise reduction off and the difference was amazing. The engine noise and the audio were almost the same, turn it back on and the signal to noise ratio was great. It’s great at eliminating a steady noise. People talking nearby could still be heard but at a lower level. I really like these headphones!

It's hard to say for sure. If you can get a good seal around your ears it might passively reduce about 12dBs of sound. With the noise cancelling on you can get significantly more depending on the environmental noises. I am able to use these while mowing my lawn without having to use a high volume.

Amazing Value, Still going strong after 6 years
Six years old and going strong. Use primarily while cutting and landscaping 2 acre property in TX. Heat, sweat, rain, dirt and dust have not stopped these from performing. Noise canceling works wonderfully. Sound is not bad for the price, either. They do look well worn, but are still going strong with the years of use in a harsh environment.

The cushion over head is poorly made
I bought the item in May and by September, the cushioning/pad that goes over the head started unraveling with the glue coming off.

Good short-term headphones
These are great headphones for the price, the quality is amazing! I've bought several of these, and the only con I'm aware of is that they don't tend to last more than a year. All of mine have stopped working right around the 9-12 month mark. Other than that, they are a great short term option with incredible soundquality.

Best value in sound quality and lightweight comfort.
Amazing sound quality with great highs/lows, lightweight with enough adjustability for comfort. Hope these last for a long time!

A Fantastic Choice!
These headphones are an awesome buy! They are easy to pair and to operate, and they sound great! The ANC feature is a big plus. The next time they're on sale, I'll buy more of them as gifts. I highly recommend them.

Decent price and great quality.
Caught this on sale and I am really surprised at the quality for the price. Very well built and comes in a nice carry case.

Best Headphones For The Price
I doubt you will find better ANC haeadphones. These are well made and come with a nice case. Even before you turn on noise cancelling, just putting these on quiets the noise because of the quality construction.
