Typically Monoprice sells great products. The boots on these cables prevent the release tab from dropping. It is impossible to release one of these cables with your hands even using the strongest pressure you've got. I have to use a screw driver to push down on the tab to release these.
We are in the middle of replacing a lot of cables and the ones I ordered from Monoprice seem to be exactly what I needed and were a good priceand that goes for all varieties of cable that we ordered.
Needed to share my Cat 5e line in my TV room between my Roku and my Panasonic BDP, so I added a switch and used these 5e jumpers to connect the devices.
PROS: Nicely made up and easy to work with, with little curly memory to deal with.
I was looking for quality CAT5e cables that had a good build and quality jacketing material. This cable is just the right one. Did the job perfectly and I'm sure I won't be replacing it anytime soon.
PROS: Built very well. Plastic tab protected by rubber piece and not difficult to push down unlike other CAT5e cables.
