I've had the m565c for a few months now and I've enjoyed hearing them get better over time. The sound is a warm smooth one. Not ever harsh or over barring, easy to listen to and then sigh.... The transducer in one of the cups starts to quit. I'd say which side but they're not marked L/R so. The build quality is just ok and they obviously have a QC issue with the drivers but I was having fun with these. Now I just hope for good customer service, if that is the case I will be updating this review with the out come. Also just to note I've seen many pairs of these for sale on eBay having the same issue, so it don't look good.
Excellent Sound & Value, major connector problems unless you sit still
Love these headphones sound and look. The connections into my transducer pull out very easily. Love the fabric covered cable, but hate having to tape the connectors into place when wearing them at my desk. The closed back design does not provide as much isolation as I expected. I have Monoprices memory foam replacement ear pads for my Sony V6 headphones. I'm going to see if they fit these and if the isolation improves. Professional User
Soundstage remains amazing on magneplanar systems, and these headphones are comfy for a few hours at a time. The only annoying thing is if you're wearing a jacket or slouch your shoulders the wrong way, the jacks at the base of the ear-cups sometimes connect, snagging your clothes or physically jarring the headset. Minor quibble, really.
