Could this be mounted to a wall, or perhaps some type of blocking material to act like the cubicle wall?
A shopper
on Feb 10, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The short answer is YES. I have used these with a 2x4 before. I took a 14" long, 2x4 and 2, 4" long pieces. attach the 2, 4" long pieces to each end of the 14" long piece, as a riser/spacer this will keep the 14" piece away from the wall. Then you can hang this from the 2x4. Also depending on the size of the monitor you may want to use a small piece of wood to keep the bottom of the mount spaced the same as the top.

Sure, if you build a hanger for it. 1 inch lumber should work.

Looks appealing... anybody have any measurement specs? VESA compatibility measurements? Max length? Range of the bracket that attaches to the top of the cubicle? C'mon Monoprice, this is standard info that should be included for this product! :(

Thanks, got a few more questions... how many inches from the bracket (top of cube wall) to the lowest slot/position? I assume this would give me where the center of the monitor would end up measured from the top of the cube wall?
Also, is it possible to go lower than the last/bottom-most slot?

I see the height and rotate function. The description says it also tilts, but I don't see how it does this. Is there a tilt adjustment that can be made? Also, anybody know of a way
to add a bit of swivel to this item? An adapter maybe? Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, you are right, tilt angle is not adjustable on this mount. It can provide minimal downward tilt by adjusting the top opening to not be too snug to the top of the cubicle, but it is not a real adjustment function. We'll fix the description to remove "tilt" from the description. Thanks.

The description says: "It provides a wide range of height and tilt adjustments for optimum fit and ergonomics".
Does this mean moving the bottom away from the wall, and the top toward the wall? Moving the left side toward the wall, and the right side away from the wall? How many degrees?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the mount has easy height adjustments and side-to-side position is easy enough to change by just moving the mounting location on the cubicle wall. However for "tilt" adjustments, the mount is not able to provide all the adjustment ranges you described (up-down and side-angle tilt). The product description has been updated to remove "tilt" to avoid confusion. This mount does provide vertical tilt adjustment by adjusting the distance of the top hook, closer spacing makes the monitor flatter against the cubicle, while making the hook wider allows the monitor to tilt downwards to avoid glare. Thanks for checking.

Solves space issues
This is a really helpful mount and saves a ton of space. The biggest drawback is that the clip only gets so narrow and, if you have thinner dividers, they hang down a bit and aren't particularly tight to the cubicle. Still really solid design, though, and frees up a lot of space.

Great Product
While I was impressed with the product, I did have one issue. If the
vertical bracket was about 6 " longer it would be perfect height. I will have to check if there is a longer option on these.

Very sturdy.
I ordered two of these because my company will only purchase a dual monitor mount and I needed four monitors. So the way I have these set up is perfect for them. They are sturdy and honestly I feel like the cubicle would break before the mounts would. Easily adjustable, come with plenty of screws for whatever kind of monitor you can think of.

Nice product, but...
It's nice they've added the diagram. That would have helped, had it been there when I purchased.
This monitor holder is for hanging an informational display on a cubicle wall. I tried to use a couple to hold multiple monitors on my cube wall for work. If they tilted and swiveled a litle, you could.
It seems to be well made, so I'm going to hold on to them, and find a use.
If the information for the product was more robust when I bought them, I could give it a five-star review. i.e. like the length of the slide, only 12 inches ar best.
