Wish I could help you with this, but I didn't have any requirement to extend the IR remotes. I only put these in for a 32' & 46' HDMI extension @ 1080P/60 to remote input wall plates in a 'wide' conference room.

I am also having trouble getting the IR to function on this unit. I contacted Tech Support but honestly they weren't able to help at all. Do you have a known-to-work IR blaster and receiver that you can point us at? I see you have #32993 as a blaster, but do you have a receiver for this setup? I need to get this working...
